MORVEN PARK PAS DE DEUX

More than 200 horses are expected to compete in the annual Morven Park Summer Dressage Classic. The highlight is the musical freestyle, the $10,000 Pas de Deux Challenge Cup, performed by two horses and riders simultaneously. Saturday's concert in Warrenton will feature Kevin Burke, a fiddler and a founder of the renowned group Patrick Street, as well as the Bothy Band, one of the most influential Irish groups of the 1970s. Burke will be joined by the newest addition to Patrick Street, Ged Foley, a guitarist, singer and player of the fiddle and the Northumbrian smallpipes. 7:30 p.m. Old Shadowlawn, 70 Culpeper St. (between Franklin and Lee streets).
