JAY ST., 3500 block, 12:42 a.m. July 14. An unidentified male was found at a parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office, where he was pronounced dead.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

SECOND ST., 5 p.m. May 30. Two male teenagers were involved in a sexual assault in a home.

ROBBERIES

BENNING RD., 3400 block, 1:40 to 1:41 a.m. July 9. A male teenager with a gun demanded cash from a male in a parking area. The male said he didn't have any and ran away. The robber demanded cash from two other people. A cell phone, a license and a pocketbook were taken.

C ST., 1500 block, 11:56 p.m. July 13. A man robbed two people at gunpoint at a bus stop.

C ST., 1600 block, 6:30 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred on the sidewalk. No further information was provided by police.

COMMODORE JOSHUA BARNEY DR., 3500 block, noon to 12:05 p.m. July 9. A gunman robbed two people of wallets in a parking area.

EADS ST., 3400 block, 12:05 to 12:10 a.m. July 9. A gunman robbed two pedestrians of purses and keys.

HAYES ST., 3700 block, 12:15 to 12:20 a.m. July 14. A man punched a person in the face in a park area and took keys, then fled toward Anacostia Avenue.

INGRAHAM ST., 500 block, 6 p.m. July 11. A male teenager took a motorbike from a male.

MINNESOTA AVE., 4000 block, 1:25 to 1:30 p.m. July 14. A male teenager snatched a purse from a female on a walkway at the Metro station.

MONTELLO AVE., 1100 block, 11 to 11:05 p.m. July 11. A male snatched a purse from a female pedestrian and fled on foot with three males.

MONTELLO AVE., 1600 block, 9:18 a.m. July 9. A man grabbed a female by the throat in a convenience store and fled with property he snatched from her hand. Another man was involved. No further information was provided by police.

MORSE ST., 500 block, 11:04 to 11:10 a.m. July 14. Two males, one with a gun, approached a male unloading boxes of merchandise in an alley. A wallet and a box of white T-shirts were taken.

NORTH CAROLINA AVE., 1300 block, 3:20 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred on the street. No further information was provided by police.

OWEN PL. AND WEST VIRGINIA AVE., 4:30 a.m. July 13. A person started a conversation with a pedestrian, then demanded a wallet. The pedestrian refused. The robber tried to take the wallet. No further information was provided by police.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 900 block, 12:10 a.m. July 14. A man in a vehicle asked a pedestrian for directions in a parking area. The man got out of the vehicle and showed a gun. No further information was provided by police.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1500 block, 2:05 to 2:10 p.m. July 12. Three men entered a liquor store and showed guns. One told people to "get down" and jumped over a counter to take property. Another jumped over the counter and took cash from the cash register.

SIXTH AND A STREETS, 1:42 a.m. July 12. A man driving a sport utility vehicle pulled up to a pedestrian and asked for directions. While the pedestrian was giving directions, the driver got out of the SUV and stabbed him twice in the chest. No further information was provided by police.

NINTH ST. AND CONSTITUTION AVE., 12:15 p.m. July 6. A robbery occurred on the sidewalk. No further information was provided by police.

NINTH AND K STREETS, 3:05 a.m. July 10. Two gunmen ordered a pedestrian to the ground, searched his or her pockets and took property.

15TH ST., 400 block, 4:10 p.m. July 6. Two male teenagers robbed someone on the street. No further information was provided by police.

BLAINE ST., 4600 block, 11 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. June 24. A home was entered by putting a ladder to a rear window and opening the window. Upper-floor bedrooms were ransacked.

CORBIN PL., 1300 block, 8:40 to 9:15 a.m. July 12. Property was taken from an occupied home entered through a living room window.

FLORIDA AVE., 400 block, 4:30 a.m. July 13. A restaurant was entered by prying a door. Property was taken.

HOLBROOK TER., 1200 block, noon July 11 to 9:15 a.m. July 12. A front door, a back door and a 55-gallon water heater were taken from a home.

MARYLAND AVE., 2100 block, 1:25 p.m. July 8. A man knocked on a door of a home and asked a resident whether he could borrow a pair of pliers. When the resident opened the door, four other people forced their way inside and punched the resident, causing cuts to his arm and finger.

MONTANA AVE., 500 block, noon July 1 to 7 p.m. July 7. A stereo and a piece of exercise equipment were taken from a home entered through a bathroom window.

OTIS ST., 3000 block, 3:45 p.m. July 9 to 1:30 p.m. July 10. An electric stove was taken from a home entered by breaking glass out of a side door.

QUEEN ST., 1100 block, 6 to 10 p.m. July 12. A flat-screen TV, a computer, a monitor, a digital camera, a video game system and a diamond ring were taken from a home entered by forcing a rear door.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 500 block, 1:08 a.m. July 8. A man entered a specialty store. A man, 55, was arrested.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 700 block, 8 p.m. July 12 to 1:45 a.m. July 13. A specialty store was entered by breaking a lock on a front door with a wrench. Four Cadillac rims and tires were taken.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1000 block, 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. July 8. A man stole property from a home and was stopped by a resident as he tried to leave. A man, 44, was arrested.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1800 block, 5:30 p.m. July 12 to 8:50 a.m. July 13. A money receptacle was taken from a government building entered through a side window.

TENNESSEE AVE., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11. Property was taken from a home.

TENNESSEE AVE., 600 block, 8:30 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. July 14. Property was taken from a home entered by forcing a front door.

FOURTH ST., 1300 block, 6:15 p.m. July 8 to 8:50 a.m. July 9. Thirty purses and 80 wallets were taken from a building entered by breaking two security doors.

ALLISON ST., 1400 block, 5:50 p.m. July 6. A robbery occurred in an alley.

BLAIR RD. AND VAN BUREN ST., 11:20 p.m. July 7. Two men robbed a 25-year-old man of cash on the street, then ordered him to strip naked. The pedestrian complied, and one of the robbers cut his groin area.

BUCHANAN ST., 1300 block, 4:30 p.m. July 9. Two men armed with knives robbed someone of cash in a place of worship.

CHAPIN ST., 1400 block, 4 a.m. July 13. A man pointed a gun at a pedestrian while another robber took the pedestrian's cell phone.

CHAPIN ST., 1400 block, 4:30 a.m. July 11. A man robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint.

CHEVY CHASE PKWY., 5200 block, 9:18 to 9:20 p.m. July 10. A male motorist got out of his car, and a man in another vehicle asked him for directions. While the motorist was giving directions, the other man got out and robbed him at knifepoint. The victim's finger was cut during the incident.

CLIFTON ST., 1300 block, 7:09 to 7:35 p.m. July 9. Two males approached a male walking someone else's dog in an alley. One demanded to see the dog and attacked the walker when he refused. The attacker grabbed the dog and handed it to his accomplice. They fled together with the dog.

CLIFTON ST., 1400 block, 12:30 a.m. July 8. Two men approached a driver as she tried to park her car in an alley. They broke windows with a bat, and one pulled her out and hit her shoulder with the bat. No further information was provided by police.

COLUMBIA RD., 1300 block, 2:20 to 2:55 p.m. July 6. A male juvenile robbed someone in a parking area.

COLUMBIA RD., 1700 block, 11:35 p.m. July 7. A man robbed a male in an alley and fled in a car with another man.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 5600 block, 10:10 to 10:12 a.m. July 12. A man robbed a bank.

DUMBARTON ST., 2800 block, 4:11 a.m. July 9. Two men were involved in a robbery on the sidewalk. An arrest was made.

EUCLID ST., 1600 block, 4:04 a.m. July 10. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet and punched him.

GALLATIN AND NORTH CAPITOL STREETS, 7:30 p.m. July 10. A male juvenile and a teenager, both on bikes, snatched a pedestrian's purse.

GEORGIA AVE., 2000 block, 4:50 p.m. July 14. A man robbed a fast-food restaurant at gunpoint, telling an employee to put cash in a bag.

GEORGIA AVE., 5000 block, 4:30 a.m. July 7. Four teenagers were involved in a robbery. A wallet was taken.

GEORGIA AVE., 5000 block, 11:17 p.m. July 10. A teenager snatched cash from a customer paying for gas at a service station. The customer struggled with the teenager, and another teenager punched the customer in the face, knocking him down. The robbers fled, chased by the victim. One was caught. An arrest was made.

HARVARD ST., 1300 block, 5:50 p.m. July 9. Five teenagers attacked a pedestrian, kicking and punching him. A wallet was taken.

HIATT PL., 3200 block, 2:30 a.m. July 7. Three teenagers were involved in a robbery on the sidewalk. Car keys were taken.

HOWARD PL., 600 block, 1:20 to 1:25 a.m. July 9. Two males robbed two people in a park area. One robber showed a gun and ordered them to the ground. The other took a wallet, cash, a watch, a cell phone and earrings.

K ST., 1300 block, 4 p.m. July 9. A man with a knife demanded cash from two people carrying a night deposit bag. Police did not say whether money was taken.

K ST., 1600 block, 12:50 p.m. July 11. A man demanded cash from a cashier at a coffee shop. No further information was provided by police.

KENNEDY ST., 1400 block, 10:20 p.m. July 6. Three boys were involved in a robbery on the sidewalk. A backpack was taken.

M ST., 1-99 block, 7 a.m. July 11. A gunman and another man demanded a wallet from a pedestrian. No further information was provided by police.

ONTARIO RD., 2200 block, 2:43 to 3:50 p.m. July 7. A robbery occurred on the sidewalk.

OTIS PL., 800 block, 2:01 to 2:05 a.m. July 9. A gunman demanded cash from a male pedestrian and threatened to kill him. Someone shouted "police," and the robber fled.

P ST., 1500 block, 2 a.m. July 6 to 4 p.m. July 11. A man robbed a pedestrian of a wallet and car keys.

PARK RD., 1500 block, 11:30 p.m. July 13. A man hit a pedestrian in the head from behind, then kicked and punched him, took property and fled on foot.

PRINCETON PL., 700 block, 1:20 a.m. July 10. A man punched a pedestrian in the back of the head . When the pedestrian fell, the man and another man kicked and punched him, demanding cash. No further information was provided by police.

R ST., 1300 block, 12:30 a.m. July 13. A male left an alley and pointed a gun at two pedestrians, demanding property. He took a wallet, a credit card and a driver's license.

SOMERSET PL., 1300 block, 6:20 a.m. July 11. A man hailed a cab at 14th Street and Military Road. Holding his hands under a newspaper as if he had a gun, he robbed the driver.

FIRST AND ADAMS STREETS, 9:30 p.m. July 13. Two males approached a female riding a scooter. One knocked her off and demanded the scooter. The males then fled. One was later stopped. No further information was provided by police.

FIRST AND M STREETS, 7:40 a.m. July 14. A male teenager robbed a pedestrian.

SECOND AND MADISON STREETS, 3:15 p.m. July 7. Two male teenagers were involved in a robbery in a park area. A bag and a Social Security check were taken.

FIFTH ST., 900 block, 5:30 p.m. July 10. A male snatched cash from a pedestrian as he was trying to put it into his wallet.

SEVENTH ST. AND RHODE ISLAND AVE., 12:01 a.m. July 4 to 12:55 a.m. July 5. Two males kicked a male pedestrian and fled with a bank card and a cell phone.

11TH ST., 2200 block, 3 a.m. July 10. Two men approached a male pedestrian at 14th Street and Florida Avenue. One showed a knife and demanded cash. A wallet and credit cards were taken.

13TH AND LAMONT STREETS, 8:20 p.m. July 11. A driver picked up a man at New Jersey and Rhode Island avenues. The passenger robbed the driver of cash and car keys at gunpoint.

13TH ST., 600 block, 2:30 p.m. July 14. A male snatched a purse from a pedestrian and fled in a vehicle.

13TH ST., 4700 block, 2:15 a.m. July 9. Six people attacked a male pedestrian. Property was taken.

14TH ST., 1900 block, 3:59 a.m. July 10. Two males robbed a carryout restaurant at gunpoint. Witnesses flagged down an off-duty police officer. The officer approached the robbers as they were fleeing. No further information was provided by police.

14TH ST., 2400 block, 11:10 p.m. July 14. A male wearing a black mask and dark clothing in a grocery store robbed a cashier of money at gunpoint.

14TH ST., 2800 block, 10:20 p.m. July 9. A robber hit a pedestrian on the back of the head and face, then fled with two large pizzas.

14TH ST., 2900 block, 9:40 p.m. July 14. A male hit another male in the eye in an alley and took a wallet and keys.

16TH AND IRVING STREETS, 3:25 a.m. July 11. Two men demanded cash from a pedestrian. When he refused, one of the men shot him in the face with a BB gun. The other beat the pedestrian and pinned him to the ground. A wallet and identification cards were taken.

16TH ST., 3600 block, 10:31 a.m. July 10. A man held a knife to someone's neck in an apartment elevator and took a purse, then ran out of the elevator and down stairs.

18TH ST., 1300 block, 2:50 a.m. July 13. Four males -- armed with a knife, a baseball bat and a broken bottle -- attacked a pedestrian and took a baseball cap and earrings. A Secret Service officer stopped suspects who were then identified by the victim and witnesses. No further information was provided by police.

19TH ST., 1100 block, 11:30 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred in an alley.

CHAPIN ST., 1400 block, 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 11. A laptop computer, CDs and a backpack were taken from a home entered by pushing an air conditioner out of a rear window.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 4601 block, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14. Property was taken from an apartment entered through a front door with a broken lock.

DECATUR PL., 2200 block, 9:30 p.m. July 12 to 8:30 a.m. July 13. A laptop computer and a CD player were taken from an occupied apartment entered through an open door.

FLORIDA AVE., 1600 block, 5:15 to 10:30 a.m. July 10. A man entered a home through an unlocked first-floor window while a male resident slept in one room and a female slept with a male upstairs. The intruder woke the female by sexually assaulting her. No further information was provided by police.

OAKWOOD TER., 3000 block, 9 p.m. July 12 to 3:30 p.m. July 13. A nail gun, a framer and a saw tool were taken from a home entered through a basement door.

ONEIDA PL., 700 block, 4 a.m. July 14. A 43-year-old man kicked in an acquaintance's basement door and yelled at the acquaintance. When police arrived, he fled out the front door.

ONTARIO RD., 2900 block, 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 13. A lock on a door was pried in an attempt to enter an apartment. Another lock on the door remained locked.

P ST., 1400 block, 2 to 10:30 a.m. July 9. Several bottles of liquor, a computer monitor and a keyboard were taken from a restaurant entered by forcing a rear basement door.

P ST., 1500 block, noon July 13. A male teenager knocked on a door of a home. A female resident looked out and saw him, but did not answer because she was not dressed. She then saw another person on the sidewalk, and the teenager peeped into windows.

16TH ST., 1500 block, 1 to 6 p.m. July 14. Two men demanded that an employee let them into an apartment to retrieve a laptop computer. The employee refused because the owner was not there. The men eventually entered and searched the apartment. Door keys were taken.

16TH ST., 3600 block, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. July 5. A break-in occurred.

16TH ST., 5000 block, 6:30 p.m. July 10 to 1 p.m. July 11. An edger, a blower and a trimmer were taken from a garage.

17TH ST., 1500 block, 3:45 p.m. July 11 to 8:30 a.m. July 12. A battery kit, a jigsaw, a belt sander, a drill and a saw tool were taken from a construction site entered by removing a temporary door.

22ND ST., 1300 block, 12:30 to 5:55 p.m. July 14. A diamond watch, diamond earrings, a flat-screen TV and a CD player were taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window lock.

31ST ST., 6200 block, 4:50 p.m. July 7. Property was taken from a garage entered by forcing a side door.

39TH ST., 5400 block, 12:45 to 12:50 p.m. July 11. A man kicked in a front door of a home and grabbed a female by the wrist, threatening to kill her if she did not give him money. He took money.

T ST., 1500 block, 5:40 a.m. July 9. An unidentified male was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the back and head. He was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

22ND ST., 3500 block, 4:55 a.m. July 10. An unidentified male was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:55 a.m.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

WESTOVER DR., 7:15 p.m. July 13. A man sexually assaulted someone in a home.

SIXTH ST., 3600 block, 3 p.m. July 11. A boy sexually assaulted someone in a parking area.

12TH ST., 9:30 p.m. May 25. A woman sexually assaulted someone in a home.

ROBBERIES

ALABAMA AVE., 1300 block, 8:04 p.m. July 14. Two male teenagers snatched a purse from a female in a parking area.

ALABAMA AVE., 3800 block, 9:10 to 9:15 a.m. July 11. A gunman accompanied by another male demanded cash from someone. The person complied, throwing cash on the ground. The gunman forced the person to pick it up and give it to him.

BENNING RD., 4500 block, 6:35 to 6:36 p.m. July 6. Three male teenagers were involved in a robbery at a restaurant. A cell phone was taken.

EATON RD., 1100 block, 6:10 a.m. July 13. A male accompanied by another male robbed a male of cash at gunpoint on the street. The robber, who was seen by police searching the area, escaped.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2900 block, 11:45 to 11:47 p.m. July 12. A gunman entered a restaurant through a rear door and told everyone to put their hands up. He grabbed a phone from an employee's hand and hung it up, then grabbed property.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 3000 block, 2:18 a.m. July 13. A male approached a driver of a vehicle at a traffic light and ordered him out at gunpoint, then took the vehicle.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 3000 block, 6:35 to 7 a.m. July 8. A gunman robbed a male of his wallet and fled in a vehicle.

MILWAUKEE PL., 600 block, 12:10 to 12:12 p.m. July 14. A boy approached a male standing next to a vehicle and demanded his wallet. The robber showed the handle and barrel of a gun in his pocket. No further information was provided by police.

MINNESOTA AVE., 3400 block, 9:41 p.m. July 13. A man approached a car stopped at a traffic light, pointed a gun at the female driver's head and told her to get out. She complied, and the robber fled in her car.

NAYLOR RD., 2600 block, 7:15 to 7:21 p.m. July 11. A man punched a female to the ground during an argument. Her wallet fell out of her purse, and the man picked it up, taking cash.

NAYLOR RD., 2700 block, 4:10 to 4:12 p.m. July 6. A robbery occurred at a restaurant.

NAYLOR RD., 2700 block, 9:55 p.m. July 13. A man walked into a fast-food restaurant and asked for a beverage. An employee gave him a drink. The man then took money at gunpoint.

NAYLOR RD., 3000 block, 11:14 p.m. July 6. A male was involved in a robbery at a parking area.

RIDGE RD., 100 block, 7 to 7:01 a.m. July 9. Two men forced a pedestrian to the ground and took cash from his pants pocket. One escaped. One man, 21, was arrested.

SHERIDAN RD., 2500 block, 5:05 a.m. July 5. A man grabbed a pedestrian by his jacket and demanded cash at gunpoint. The pedestrian struggled and another man ran to assist the robber. Keys were taken.

STANTON RD., 2600 block, 11:36 p.m. July 5 to 12:33 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred on the street. No further information was provided by police.

WHEELER RD., 4000 block, 9 p.m. July 8. Three males attacked someone at a bus stop. A cell phone was taken.

SEVENTH AND I STREETS, 7:30 p.m. July 9. A robber hit a female pedestrian on the back of the head and unsuccessfully tried to take her purse.

13TH ST. AND PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 3:30 a.m. July 13. A group of four approached a male in a parking area. One male asked for a cigarette and hit him on the head, causing him to fall. The group then kicked the male. No further information was provided by police.

38TH ST., 2100 block, 4:35 to 4:40 a.m. July 9. Two males approached a female pedestrian, and one took her gold and silver necklace, diamond earrings and diamond watch.

46TH ST., 100 block, 5 p.m. July 14. A gunman demanded cash that a female was holding outside a home. She fled. The gunman then entered the home, put the gun to someone's neck and demanded money. Property was taken, including an identification card.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HIGHVIEW PL., 200 block, 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 7. A laptop computer was taken from a school entered through a rear window.

INDEPENDENCE AVE., 1300 block, 10:38 a.m. July 12. Someone entered a home through a front door and was stopped by a female resident on the stairs. The resident saw the person trying to steal items. The robber fled.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 3000 block, 7 p.m. July 10 to 5:30 p.m. July 11. A drill bit set was taken from a place of worship entered by removing an air conditioner from a basement window.

MINNESOTA AVE., 2300 block, 12:45 p.m. July 7 to 8:30 a.m. July 8. Two gallons of paint were taken from a home entered through a basement window.

NAYLOR RD., 3100 block, 4 p.m. July 7 to 9:30 a.m. July 8. Seven air conditioners were taken from a building entered through a rear door, which might have been unlocked.

ORANGE ST., 400 block, 8 p.m. July 11 to 8:30 a.m. July 12. A bag of tools was taken from a basement storage unit entered by forcing a window.

10TH ST., 200 block, 10 p.m. July 7 to 7 a.m. July 8. Property was taken from a garage entered by forcing a door.

14TH ST., 400 block, 9:40 p.m. July 11. A male took items from a grocery store.

37TH ST., 200 block, 8 p.m. June 9 to 1 p.m. June 13. A gold watch was taken from an apartment.

56TH ST., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 20. A computer was taken from a home.

GALVESTON ST., 100 block, 10 to 11 p.m. July 5. A robbery occurred in a parking area.

GALVESTON ST., 100 block, 12:30 a.m. July 10. A male teenager talked to three people about attending a party at the above location. He then told them to wait in a hallway. Two more male teenagers arrived, one of whom showed a gun and ordered the three people to get on the floor. Four cell phones, a shirt, a wallet and keys were taken.

SIXTH ST., 900 block, noon July 10. A man who was sitting in the back of another male's truck in a park area put a knife to the driver's throat and robbed him of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DARRINGTON ST., 1-99 block, 2:15 to 2:20 p.m. July 9. A man reportedly entered a female relative's home through an unlocked back door, kicked in a locked bedroom door, took cash and fled.
