Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

CRADLEROCK WAY, 6600 block, 9 to 9:09 p.m. July 18. Five or six males near a library accosted a male pedestrian, who was then forced to the ground, punched in the head, and robbed of a wallet containing cash and credit cards. The pedestrian received cuts to his right arm.

GREEN DORY LANE, 5500 block, 5:45 to 8:01 a.m. July 17. Two males, one armed with a handgun, assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash, a passport and a cell phone.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, 11:06 p.m. July 15. Four men at a shopping center bus stop accosted a male, who was then assaulted and robbed of cash. Three men, ages 21, 22, and 23, were arrested.

VANTAGE POINT RD., 5500 block, 9:16 p.m. July 16. Four males entered a residence, accosted a male resident, assaulted him, and then robbed him of a wallet and car keys.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

EDEN BROOK DR., 7300 block, 1:47 p.m. July 18. A man on a ground-floor apartment patio was seen fondling himself. Police approached the man, who resisted arrest. The man, 41, was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AMHERST AVE., 6400 block, 9 p.m. July 12 to 7:30 a.m. July 13. Cash was stolen from an office entered by force at a church entered through an unlocked door.

FAIRMEAD LANE, 6400 block, 3 p.m. July 8 to 2:15 p.m. July 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement rear window.

FAULKNER RIDGE CIR., 10500 block, 3:11 p.m. July 13. A resident returned home, noticed a broken living-room front window and saw a man flee out a front door. Police later arrested a man, 21.

FAULKNER RIDGE CIR., 10500 block, 12:01 to 5 a.m. July 14. A male entered a residence through a back door and was confronted by a resident. The intruder then fled.

GOOD LION RD., 9500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 13. Jewelry and food were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

GUILFORD RD., 8300 block, 6 p.m. July 14 to 6:20 a.m. July 15. Two laptop computers were stolen from a business entered by shattering a glass back door.

HARP STRING, 7100 block, July 11 to 1:16 p.m. July 18. A residence was entered by breaking a front window. Nothing was reported stolen.

KITELINE CT., 6300 block, June 26 to 10:56 a.m. July 18. A black bicycle was stolen from a residential garage.

QUIET HOURS, 6500 block, July 8. An apartment was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

SENECA DR., 6700 block, 6:30 p.m. July 16 to 10:45 a.m. July 17. A DVD player-VCR and candy were stolen from a snack bar entered by forcing a wooden door at a swim club.

TWIN RIVERS RD., 10400 block, 5 to 5:36 a.m. July 17. DVDs and cigarettes were stolen from a grocery store entered by smashing a front window. The cigarettes were removed from a cigarette case by smashing the case with a rock.

WEST RUNNING BROOK RD., 5200 block, 6:28 a.m. July 18. Two TVs were stolen from an elementary school entered by force.

VANTAGE POINT ROAD, 5 to 6 p.m. July 12. Clothing and household goods were stolen from an apartment.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BRIDLEREIN TERR., 10700 block, 9:34 a.m. July 13. A male and a female attempted to steal a customized Honda Civic.

CLOCKTOWER LANE, 9700 block, 6 p.m. July 14 to 10:30 a.m. July 15. A white 1995 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

GREYSTONE LANE, 8400 block, 12:32 a.m. July 14. A black trailer with chrome wheels was stolen.

GREYSTONE LANE, 8400 block, 8:05 a.m. July 14. A black 2003 Acura 3.2TL was stolen.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 8 p.m. July 15 to 7:50 a.m. July 16. A red 1999 Dodge truck was stolen.

Elkridge Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AMBERTON DR., 6600 block, 5 p.m. July 13 to 10:30 a.m. July 14. An attempt was made to enter a residential garage.

MONTGOMERY RD., 7200 block, 6 p.m. July 15 to 6 a.m. July 16. An attempt was made to enter a business by throwing three bricks through three windows.

Ellicott City Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GREENWAY DR., 2800 block, 6:15 p.m. July 12 to 7:10 a.m. July 13. A cell-phone adapter was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in an unlocked residential garage.

OLD FREDERICK RD., 8500 block, 12:01 a.m. April 21 to 11:59 p.m. April 24. Tools were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

WILD LILAC, 5400 block, 8:30 p.m. July 14 to 7:20 a.m. July 15. An attempt was made to steal a 2001 green Aprilia motorcycle.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

SCAGGSVILLE ROAD, 2:30 p.m. July 12 to 6 a.m. July 13. Copper tubing was stolen from a construction-site trailer entered by force.

Jessup Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GUILFORD RD., 10200 block, 7 p.m. July 12 to 6:30 a.m. July 13. A construction container was cut open at a construction site entered by cutting a lock off a gate.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7700 block, 1 to 4 p.m. July 16. Cash in a dresser drawer and a bottle of vodka in a freezer were stolen from a mobile home.

Laurel Area

THEFT/BREAK-IN

HOMESTEAD CT., 9600 block, 7:10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 15. Clothing was stolen from a residence entered through a first-floor front window.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

EVENING PRIMROSE, 9700 block, 4:29 a.m. July 13. An attempt was made to steal a 2003 Dodge Neon.

Marriottsville Area

INDECENT EXPOSURE

ROUTE 40 AND MARRIOTTSVILLE ROAD, 4:40 p.m. July 16. A male driver reportedly exposed himself to other motorists. A man, age 46, was arrested.

Savage Area

THEFT/BREAK-IN

BALTIMORE ST., 9100 block, 3:30 p.m. July 14 to 3:30 p.m. July 15. A cat, a litter box and a food bowl were stolen from a residence entered by removing a deadbolt lock from a back door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

RIVER ISLAND DR., 8900 block, 1:30 to 8:30 a.m. July 16. A green 1994 Ford Escort was stolen.
