Residents Along Route 50

Asked About Commutes

Residents of the South Riding, Stone Ridge and Kirkpatrick Farms areas along Route 50 are being asked about their commuting patterns and whether they would use public transportation, such as a bus service.

The survey, being conducted by the Dulles Area Transportation Association on behalf of the Loudoun County Office of Transportation Services, can be filled out online at through the end of July. The results will be used in future transportation planning.

The Loudoun County Commuter Bus Service now averages 2,128 daily passenger trips, with 29 morning and 30 afternoon runs on three routes. In fiscal 2005, 513,766 passengers rode the buses.
