Huntingtown Area


WILSON RD., 7:30 p.m. June 21. Two yard lamps were damaged at a residence.

Lusby Area


CACTUS RD., 7 a.m. July 18. A car radio and purse were stolen from a vehicle.

CATALINA DR., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 21. A bicycle was stolen from a yard.

CATTLE DR., 3:15 p.m. July 18. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

CHESAPEAKE RANCH ESTATES, July 5 to July 11. Several vehicles were entered, and property was stolen.

CHESTNUT DR., July 15. A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

COYOTE TRAIL, 1 to 9 a.m. July 24. A DVD player and a PlayStation 2 Championship Poker game were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

H.G. TRUEMAN RD., July 11. Cash was stolen from a vending machine at Larry's Automotive.


APPEAL LANE, 5:40 a.m. June 25. Thirteen vehicles were damaged at the Southern Pines Apartments. Each vehicle's glove compartment was ransacked.

Owings Area


TWILIGHT CT., midnight to 2:30 a.m. July 20. Sodas and popsicles were stolen from a pool house. An in-pool vacuum cleaner was damaged.


CHANEYVILLE RD., July 11. Graffiti were written on two doors at Northern Middle School and a window was broken. A wooden pole was used to break a window and screen on a shed at the school.

Prince Frederick Area


ROUTE 2/4, 7:30 a.m. to 1:31 p.m. July 20. A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the Fox Run Shopping Center.

ROUTE 2/4, July 25. A Briggs & Stratton elite series 3400 pressure washer was stolen from the deck of a residence.


DARES BEACH RD., 7:35 a.m. July 18. A window was broken on a building at a construction site across the street from Calvert High School.

LEITCHES WHARF RD., July 21. Three mailboxes were damaged.

Solomons Island Area


SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 1:30 a.m. July 17. Two women, both 25, assaulted each other. They were charged with second-degree assault.


SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 2:12 a.m. July 24. A purse was stolen from Catamaran's Restaurant.

Charles County

Indian Head Area


CIRCLE AVE., 4:38 p.m. July 25. A man, 43, hit a man, 81, with a piece of wood. He was charged with first- and second-degree assault.

La Plata Area


CENTENNIAL ST., 11:51 p.m. July 22. Stamps and postal supplies were stolen from the post office.

POST OFFICE RD., 12:20 a.m. July 22. Postal supplies were stolen from the post office.

Waldorf Area


MATTAWOMAN BEANTOWN RD., 2600 block, 8:36 a.m. July 21. Officers used an electric stun gun to subdue a man when he approached them with a knife, police said. The man, 20, was found sleeping in a classroom at Trinity Baptist Church. He fled through a window when officers arrived. Officers said that when they found him outside, he moved toward them with a knife. It was believed he entered the church to steal food. He was charged with carrying a weapon with intent to injure, theft, second-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree assault.


JEFFERSON RD., 100 block, 5 a.m. July 25. A woman arrived at home to find a boy, 15, and a girl, 14, in her residence with her 17-year-old son. A stolen vehicle was in the driveway. They were charged with theft of a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, malicious destruction of property less than $500, theft more than $500, theft less than $500, and with rogue and vagabond conduct.

WETHERBURN ST., 13900 block, 9:30 p.m. July 16 to 10:30 a.m. July 17. A 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from a residence. The vehicle was found in Prince George's County on July 18.

St. Mary's County

California Area


THREE NOTCH RD., July 24. A purse was stolen from a motel room.

Great Mills Area


WINDING WAY, July 22. A window was broken, and a sharp object was used to scratch the paint on a vehicle.

Leonardtown Area


SUNNYSIDE RD., July 26. A woman, 39, assaulted a man at a residence, then . set the bed in the master bedroom on fire soon after. The blaze spread throughout the house. Four adults and an 11-year-old child were in the house at the time. She was charged with second-degree assault, four counts of reckless endangerment and one count of property destruction more than $500.

Lexington Park Area


LEXINGTON PARK, July 22. A man, 38, was arrested in sex offenses against girls. He was charged with two counts of sex abuse to a minor and two counts of fourth-degree sex offense.


VALLEY CT., July 28. A man, 22, climbed to a balcony to enter an apartment. When he couldn't enter, he jumped off the balcony. Officers were waiting and arrested him. He was charged with fourth-degree burglary.

Mechanicsville Area


EDINBOROUGH WAY, July 23. Several doors were forced open at a residence. The home was also entered, but nothing was reported missing.
