ASSAULTS

EVANS RIDGE TERR. NE, 400 block, 12:49 p.m. July 22. Telephone threats were reported.

MARKET ST. E., 700 block, 6:30 p.m. July 25. An assault was reported.

POTOMAC STATION DRIVE AND EVANS RIDGE TERRACE NE, 6:07 p.m. July 25. A rock was thrown at a moving vehicle causing damage to a window.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ADAMS DR. NE, 1 to 100 block, 6:40 p.m. July 23. Keys, ID, two check cards and a CD player face plate were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

BARKSDALE DR. NE, 1000 block, 6:35 p.m. July 21. A mountain bike was stolen from a garage at a residence.

CATOCTIN CIR. SW, 300 block, 4:25 p.m. July 22. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 10:30 p.m. July 25. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 4:48 p.m. July 25. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 100 block, 4:50 p.m. July 24. Two bracelets, four rings and a pendant were stolen from a locker at a health club.

KING ST. N., 800 block, 9:30 a.m. July 26. A wallet was stolen from a classroom at a school.

LILAC TERR. NE, 500 block, 10:23 a.m. July 26. Cash and a CD case containing CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MARKET ST. E., 700 block, 5:06 p.m. July 25. A duffle bag, a cell phone, a passport, an airline ticket and three books were stolen at a hotel.

MERCHANT MILL TERR., 43000 block, 2 p.m. July 25 to 8 a.m. July 26. Rolls of building wrap, which is used as sealing material under siding, were stolen from a house under construction.

MONTRESOR RD., 15000 block, 1:45 to 2:05 p.m. July 26. Cash, a day planner and ID were stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

FOX HUNT TERR. NE, 1000 block, 9:22 a.m. July 25. A vehicle window was damaged.

HERITAGE WAY AND CLYMER COURT NE, 10:42 a.m. July 24. Windows of two vehicles parked on a roadway were broken.

MARKET ST. E., 700 block, 11:37 a.m. July 25. A man at a business acted in a disorderly manner and knocked over a ceramic planter.

NORTH ST. NE, 800 block, 10:38 a.m. July 25. Two vehicle windows were damaged.

PADDINGTON WAY NE, 100 block, 6:42 a.m. July 26. A vehicle was marred with paint.

RIVERPOINT DR., 43000 block, 9 a.m. July 25 to 4 p.m. July 26. Lumber was stolen from a construction site.

SOUTH ST. SE, 200 block, 9:09 p.m. July 21. A vehicle tire was slashed.

Lovettsville Area

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

TAYLORSTOWN AREA, 8:15 p.m. July 22. A man wearing a pin-striped suit, a stocking mask and gloves forced his way into a residence and sexually assaulted a woman.

South Riding Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DONERAILS CHASE DRIVE AND BRADDOCK ROAD, 6 p.m. July 21 to 7 a.m. July 22. Paint and a fire extinguisher were stolen from an unlocked construction trailer.

VANDALISM

DAPPER CT., 25000 block, 10 p.m. July 21 to 6 a.m. July 22. A vehicle and several residences were marred with paint.

Sterling Area

INDECENT EXPOSURE

MARGATE CT., 1000 block, 1:30 a.m. July 25. A man stood outside a bedroom window at a residence and exposed himself to a woman.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASH RD., 300 block, July 17 to July 24. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

CEDAR LAKE PLAZA, 46000 block, 9:45 a.m. July 24 to 7:40 a.m. July 25. Cash was stolen from a business.

CHASE HERITAGE CIR., 1000 block, 9 p.m. July 18 to 6 a.m. July 19. Tools, nail guns, a circular saw and a generator were stolen from a vehicle.

EDDS LANE, 100 block, 4 p.m. July 21. An electric toothbrush, teeth-whitening products and hair-growth treatment products were stolen from a business.

HARRY BYRD HWY., 47000 block, 4 p.m. July 24 to 5 a.m. July 25. Two businesses were entered, cash was stolen and cash registers were damaged.

MANCHESTER TERR., 46000 block, 12:15 p.m. July 26. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a sliding glass door.

SANDERSON DR., 1000 block, 1:45 to 5:30 p.m. July 21. A camera, jewelry and a video camera were stolen from an apartment.

STERLING PARK MALL, 400 block, 4:24 p.m. July 21. Bottled water and a wet-dry vacuum were stolen from a business.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

RURITAN CIR., 100 block, July 12 to July 16. A 2003 Suzuki ATV was stolen from a lot.
