Lusby Area

THEFT/BREAK-IN

LUSBY, July 20. A man, 24, was arrested on accusations that he stole heat pumps from residences under construction, then sold and installed them at other residences. He was charged with three counts of theft over $500.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

COVE POINT RD., 11:07 p.m. July 31. A residence and truck were hit with eggs.

OVERLOOK DR., 11:57 a.m. July 26. Two security lights and eight fishing rods at a pier were damaged.

Port Republic Area

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

REBECCA CT., 8:24 a.m. July 31. A residence's mailbox and flower bed were damaged.

Prince Frederick Area

ASSAULT

ARMORY RD., July 27. A man, 45, assaulted a woman at the Armory Road Self Storage. He also stuck her in the leg with a hypodermic needle. He was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree rape, reckless endangerment and false imprisonment. The next day, the man drove his truck into the woman's residence in St. Leonard. He was flown to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was treated, then released. He was also charged with malicious destruction of property over $500.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

DORSEY RD., July 28. A cinder block was thrown through a glass-paneled door at the Calvert Career Center.

STAMPER CT., 11:42 a.m. July 31. A vehicle's rear window was broken.

VEHICLE THEFT

NORTH CASSELL BLVD., 5:05 p.m. July 25. A 2003 Yukon Denali was stolen from the driveway of a residence.

ROBBERIES

ELL LANE, 12100 block, 10:42 p.m. Aug. 3. Three men armed with a gun robbed a woman, 19, and three men, ages 19, 24 and 25, of cash and property and fled.

DRAKE CT., 4300 block, 1:20 a.m. July 31. Two men armed with guns stole a wallet from a man, 24, and he was struck with a gun.

KING ST., 10 block, 9:57 a.m. Aug. 2. Two men stole a wallet from a man, 71, who was loading his groceries into his vehicle. The man attempted to retrieve his wallet as the men drove away and was dragged a short distance. He received minor abrasions.

SMALLWOOD DR., 12:36 a.m. Aug. 3. Two men armed with a knife stole a purse from a woman, 24 while she and a man, 22, were walking.

ROUTE 235, 8:34 a.m. July 30. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at Wal-Mart.

CALLAWAY, July 30. A vehicle in the Abells Tavern area was damaged

Leonardtown Area

ASSAULT

LEONARDTOWN, 8:48 p.m. July 29. A man, 22, grabbed a woman by the neck and choked her. He also grabbed her arms and pushed her against a vehicle. He was charged with assault.

Mechanicsville Area

ASSAULT

MECHANICSVILLE, 12:31 p.m. July 21. A man, 40, assaulted a state trooper serving him with a warrant for fleeing and eluding. He was charged with assault, resisting arrest, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

MANOR RD., 2:30 p.m. Aug. 1. License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence.

Park Hall Area

VEHICLE THEFT

HERMANVILLE RD., July 31. A man, 20, stole a vehicle. He was found in the area of Park Hall Elementary School. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
