More Than 40 Ill Cats Euthanized

CLARKSVILLE, Broadwater Lane, 5300 block, 5 p.m. July 26. Animal control received a request from a property owner and the owner's veterinarian to remove a feral cat colony from the property. Animal control officers found a colony of apparently sick cats.

More than 40 cats were trapped and removed from the property during a three-day period. The cats were euthanized because of their medical conditions.

Italian Greyhound Lost at Vet's

ELLICOTT CITY, Valley and Frederick roads, 7:45 a.m. July 22. A female owner of a black-brown-and-white Italian greyhound named Lily reported that she lost the dog while at a veterinarian's office. The dog was subsequently seen in the area. A dog trap was set and was being monitored by the staff at the veterinarian's office.
