Columbia Area


CEDAR LANE, 5000 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Three people took cash from a girl.


DOBBIN RD., 6300 block, 11 p.m. July 25 to 7:55 a.m. July 27. Cash was stolen from a register at a restaurant entered by breaking a front glass door.

ELIOTS OAK RD., 5300 block, 10:39 p.m. July 30. A resident asleep in a bedroom at a residence woke up and saw a flashlight shining in a window. The residence had been entered through an unlocked ground-floor sliding back door, and cash had been taken from a wallet on a kitchen counter.

GOOSE LANDING CIR., 8800 block, 12:15 to 12:40 a.m. July 31. Police were called for a report of a female throwing rocks at a residence and found a woman inside the residence that she had entered by force. A 26-year-old female acquaintance of a resident was arrested.

SWANSFIELD RD., 11000 block, 12:30 to 4 a.m. July 31. Six puppies were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement rear window.


CEDAR LANE AND LITTLE PATUXENT PARKWAY, 10:26 a.m. Aug. 1. A green-and-silver 2000 Toyota RAV4 was stolen.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 12100 block, 9:14 a.m. July 31. A white 2002 GMC truck was stolen.

SWIFT STREAM PL., 10400 block, 5:16 a.m. July 30. A green Infiniti was stolen.

Elkridge Area


WASHINGTON BLVD., 6200 block, midnight to 4:30 a.m. July 29. Cash was stolen from a safe inside an office at a fast-food restaurant entered by knocking a hole in a drive-through window.

Ellicott City Area


BONNIE VIEW LANE, 5800 block, 1 a.m. July 7 to 7 p.m. July 30. A TV and a couch were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked second-floor door.

ILCHESTER RD., 5100 block, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 28. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a laundry room back door.

SPRING OAKS LANE, 5100 block, 8:30 p.m. July 28 to 7 a.m. July 29. A refrigerator was stolen from a house under construction.


BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 8000 block, 2:20 to 5:30 p.m. July 30. A red 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 was stolen.

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 10000 block, 11:15 p.m. July 28. A green 11994 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

Jessup Area


WASHINGTON BLVD., 7400 block, 4:19 a.m. July 27. Wheel rims were stolen from a business entered by cutting a surrounding chain-link gate. Police stopped a vehicle seen leaving the business and found wheel rims inside. Two men, ages 25 and 29, were arrested.


SHEFFIELD CT., 8100 block, 1:01 a.m. July 29. A Pontiac Grand Am was stolen.

Laurel Area


CANTERBURY RIDING, 9200 block, 1 a.m. July 30 to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a sliding glass back door. A man, age 32, was arrested.

COVERED WAGON DR., 9700 block, 6 to 11 p.m. Aug. 2. Two laptop computers, a briefcase and foreign currency were stolen from an apartment entered through a sliding back door.

HELMART DR., 8000 block, 9:15 p.m. July 28 to 8 a.m. July 29. Candy was stolen from a neighborhood pool area entered through an unlocked door.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 9700 block, 11:35 p.m. July 27 to 8:30 a.m. July 28. A business was entered by forcing open a front door. Nothing was reported stolen. Coins had been stolen from a vending machine outside the business.

THIRD ST., 9400 block, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 2. A resident returned home and recovered a garden hose near the deck of the residence with water running from it. The hose had been taken from an attached shed. Nothing was reported stolen.


BOURBON ST., 9100 block, 11:13 a.m. July 30. A red 2004 Honda Accord was stolen.

SCAGGSVILLE RD., 11200 block, 5:24 p.m. July 27. A 1993 Ford was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 10100 block, 12:25 p.m. July 28. A cargo van and a rental trailer were stolen.

WHISKEY RUN RD., 9700 block, 6:46 a.m. July 27. A white 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.
