ROCKVILLE PIKE, 11300 block, 10:15 p.m. July 26. Two men at a bank in a mall grabbed a deposit bag from an employee making a night deposit and fled.

WILLARD AVE., 4400 block, 11:11 a.m. July 27. A man in a bank demanded cash from a teller, took cash and walked out.

ASSAULTS

KENSINGTON AREA, 1:30 a.m. July 26. A woman accosted a man, 52, with a knife and fled before police arrived. A female relative of the man was arrested later in the day and charged with first-degree domestic assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CONNECTICUT AVE., 10500 block, 10 p.m. July 27 to 10:30 a.m. July 28. Property was stolen from a restaurant entered by force.

CRYSTAL ROCK DR., 4:05 to 4:08 a.m. July 30. A man in a convenience store demanded cash, took it and fled.

DAIRYMAID DR., 13100 block, 1:30 a.m. July 28. A gunman in an apartment building struck a 49-year old woman over the head as she checked her mailbox, then took her purse and fled.

DUCHIN RD., 13400 block, 11:15 p.m. July 22. A gunman demanded cash from a pizza delivery man, who complied and the robber fled.

GUNNERS BRANCH AND FREDERICK ROADS, 7:14 p.m. July 28. A man accosted a Laurel man, 44, took cash and fled on foot with two men.

ASSAULTS

CRYSTAL ROCK DR., 19500 block, July 23. A Germantown man was arrested and charged with first-degree assault in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location.

EAST PARK AREA, 6 a.m. July 22. A Germantown woman was assaulted in her home, reportedly by a male acquaintance. An investigation was continuing.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

FREDERICK AVE, 500 block, July 27. A Gaithersburg man and a Damascus man were arrested and charged with three counts of fourth-degree sex offense and three counts of second-degree assault in connection with an incident that occurred at a community pool at the above location.

ROBBERIES

CORAL REEF DR., 600 block, July 27. A man, 20, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with robbery in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location.

S. FREDERICK AND CEDAR AVENUES, 7:37 p.m. July 26. A man under a bridge demanded cash at knifepoint from an adult male pedestrian, 32, of Gaithersburg. The robber fled empty-handed.

ASSAULTS

WELBECK TERR., 20000 block, 12:17 a.m. July 28. A gunman shot at a Montgomery Village man, 31, as he sat in a yard. The gunman and another man left in a tan or gold Nissan Maxima occupied by two others. No injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ATHENS PL., 9600 block, 11 p.m. July 21 to 8 a.m. July 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

BROOKEVILLE RD., 4900 block, 4:55 p.m. July 25 to 7 a.m. July 26. Property was stolen from a garden shop entered by force.

COLLINDALE WAY, 8200 block, 5 p.m. July 17 to 7:10 a.m. July 28. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

CORNING LANE, 100 block, July 11. A man, 38, of no fixed address, and a Hyattsville woman, 30, were arrested and charged with third- and fourth-degree burglary in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location. The man was charged also with disorderly conduct in the incident.

DEER PARK RD. W., 1 to 100 block, 6 p.m. July 8 to 12:11 a.m. July 9. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

DIAMOND AVE. E., 300 block, noon July 27 to 6 a.m. July 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

SPICEBERRY CIR., 8000 block, July 21. Four boys, a 15-year-old from Olney, and two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old from Gaithersburg -- were arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and destruction of property under $500 in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location. A 14-year-old boy from Derwood was arrested July 26 and charged in the same incident.

STERLING TERR., 10000 block, 11 p.m. July 29 p.m. to 7 a.m. July 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage.

TREESHIRE RD., 19500 block, 8:30 p.m. July 27 to 5:03 p.m. July 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

WATKINS MILL RD., 100 block, 10:30 p.m. July 26 to 5 a.m. July 27. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

ROCKVILLE AREA, 10:30 p.m. July 21 to 9 a.m. July 22. A woman reported a male raped her at a party.

ROBBERIES

FREDERICK RD., 15800 block, 2:22 a.m. July 29. A gunman in a convenience store forced a clerk to the floor and took cash from two registers, and a pack of cigarettes, then fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PARKLAWN LANE, 11800 block, 12:30 to 9 a.m., July 23. Property was stolen from a retail computer products store entered by force.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

SILVER SPRING AREA, July 27. A 12-year-old girl reported that she had been raped by an acquaintance in her bedroom.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

COLESVILLE RD., 8800 block, July 21. Two women saw a man fondling himself behind a glass door.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

BLACKBURN LANE, 3900 block, 10:20 p.m. July 25. A Burtonsville woman, 35, saw a man looking through the blinds of her window. When she saw him, he fled.

JANUARY DR., 1700 block, 12:10 a.m. Aug. 1. A Silver Spring woman, 45, and her two daughters saw a man watching them through a sliding glass door. He fled when they saw him.

ASSAULTS

BRUNETT AVE., 10100 block, 8:31 a.m. July 30. A Burtonsville man, 37, was arrested at the above time and date and charged with first-, second- and fourth-degree assault, and trespassing in connection with an incident that at the above location shortly before the arrest.

GALWAY DR., 12300 block, 12:42 p.m., July 31. A person with a knife at a residence stabbed several times a visiting adult male acquaintance, 45, of Silver Spring, during an argument among occupants of the home. No arrests were reported.

GRUBB RD., 8400 block, 1 a.m. July 26. A group of 10-15 males carrying guns and baseball bats in a parking lot chased a Kensington boy, 17, and began hitting and kicking him when he tripped. The assailants then walked away. The boy was treated at a local hospital for injuries.

HAMPTON POINT DR., 3300 block, 9:50 p.m. July 13. Five males assaulted a Silver Spring man, 23, and fled to a nearby apartment complex. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 12400 block, 2 to 3 a.m. July 24. A male and a female attending a party at a residence followed two party-going acquaintances -- a man, 18, and a woman, 19, both of Silver Spring -- and accosted them. The woman was punched and kicked until she was unconscious, and the man was punched and kicked in the face. Both were treated at a local hospital.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 8400 block, 11 p.m. July 30. A 35-year-old Silver Spring man was hit several times and cut with a knife during a fight at the above location.

PLUM ORCHARD RD., 12000 block, 1:28 p.m. to 1:36 p.m. Aug. 1. Two men accosted a male pedestrian, 21, of Washington, and struck him. One man threatened the pedestrian with a knife, and the other struck him with his fist.

SUTHERLAND RD., 10100 block, 10 p.m. July 22. A man in a car with two acquaintances, a woman, 43, and a man, 19, tried to pull the woman out of the vehicle and threatened the man with a large knife. He vandalized the vehicle, which belonged to the woman, and fled when police arrived. An investigation was continuing.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 800 block, 10:53 p.m. July 27. A Silver Spring man, 36, was arrested at the above time and date and charged with first- and second-degree assault in a domestic-related incident that occurred shortly before the arrest.

ROBBERIES

COLESVILLE ROAD AND WAYNE AVENUE, 1:20 a.m. July 25. Two men jumped a Silver Spring man, 22, as he was paying for a cab ride, took his property and fled on bikes.

FLACK ST., 12:25 a.m. July 23. One of three male passengers getting out of a taxi cab threatened the driver with a knife and demanded cash. The driver complied and the men fled.

GEORGIA AVE., 8500 block, 2 p.m. July 28. A man in a bank demanded cash from a teller who complied.

GEORGIA AVE., 8700 block, 10:08 a.m. July 21. A man in a bank demanded cash at knifepoint from a teller, took cash and fled.

HERRINGTON MANOR DR., 12300 block, 10:20 p.m. July 24. A gunman demanded property from a Silver Spring man, 38, sitting in a parked car, a second man took it and both robbers fled.

HUNTERS GATE CT., 1 to 100 block, 11:50 p.m. Aug. 1. Two males accosted a 24-year-old Silver Spring man, spoke to him and demanded property at gunpoint. The robbers fled toward Calverton Road. Nothing was reported taken.

LOCKWOOD DR., 11600 block, 10:05 p.m. July 24. A gunman stopped a Silver Spring man, 43, in a stairwell, and a second man took cash and a cell phone from him. The robbers fled out the front door and left in a dark-green car.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVENUE AND NORTHAMPTON DRIVE, 12:30 a.m. July 25. Four men, two with baseball bats, demanded cash from a Silver Spring pedestrian, 23, then fled. Nothing was reported taken.

NORTHAMPTON DRIVE AND AVENEL ROAD, 9:20 p.m. July 24. A gunman demanded cash from a Silver Spring pedestrian, 21, took cash and property, then fled with another man.

NOVEMBER CIR., 1500 block, 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Two boys followed two pedestrians -- a man, 48, and a woman, 47, both of Silver Spring -- and one of the boys pulled out a gun and took property from the pedestrians. The robbers fled.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9300 block, 12:48 a.m. July 30. A man struck a Silver Spring woman, 31, with an unidentified object, took her purse and fled.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9300 block, 7 p.m. July 22. A gunman demanded cash from a Silver Spring pedestrian, 25, took cash and property, then fled with another man.

PINEY BRANCH ROAD AND ARLISS STREET, 2:10 a.m. July 23. Two men at bus stops were stabbed in similar robbery attempts. Both men were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

PINEY BRANCH, 9200 block, 8:50 p.m. July 23. A gunman took the wallet of a Silver Spring pedestrian, 28, and fled with another man.

PROSPERITY TERR., 2500 block, 10:45 a.m. July 18. A gunman at a car dealership kicked in a front glass door and demanded cash from two employees, then fled empty-handed in an older model Toyota van.

UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD AND PINEY BRANCH ROAD, 2 p.m. July 27. Two men demanded a wallet at knifepoint from a male pedestrian, 26, of Silver Spring. The pedestrian refused, and one of the men stabbed him and the other took cash from his wallet. The robbers then fled.

11TH AVE., 8500 block, 8:45 p.m. July 21. A gunman confronted a pizza delivery man and a second man took property from him. The robbers fled.

GUDE DRIVE E., 1300 block, 4:25 p.m. July 29. A Gaithersburg man, 22, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and issued a traffic citation in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location.

KING FARM AND ELMCROFT BOULEVARDS, 12:20 to 12:30 a.m., July 27. A Rockville woman, 24, was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault-and-battery on police officers, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following a traffic stop in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location.

BRADLEY AVE., 1600 block, 1 to 3 p.m. July 25. A cell phone and a video game system were stolen from a residence.

BROADWOOD DR., 300 block, 6 to 7 p.m. July 25. A music system was stolen from a recreation facility.

COLLEGE PKWY., 500 block, 6:30 to 10 p.m. July 27. A video game system and two video game controllers were stolen from a vehicle.

FLETCHER PL., 700 block, 2 p.m. July 23 to 1 p.m. July 25. A TV-VCR, a portable table saw, a belt sander and a drill were stolen from a residence.

HUNGERFORD DR., 900 block, 5 p.m. July 22 to 1:30 p.m. July 25. Computer modules were stolen from a school.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1600 block, 3:30 p.m. July 27. An Essex man, 25, was arrested and charged with shoplifting in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 800 block, 10:11 a.m., July 26. Four boxes of food were stolen from a grocery store.

SPAATZ PL., 5900 block, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 28. A miter saw was stolen from a residential shed.

TWINBROOK PKWY., 300 block, 10 p.m. July 25 to 4 p.m. July 26. A wallet containing a driver's license, a social security card and two Maryland registration plates were stolen from a vehicle.

WESTMORE RD., 7400 block, 4 to 9 p.m. July 24. An aluminum wheel rim and a tire were stolen from a vehicle.

CIRCLE AVE., 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. July 29. A 2000 Chrysler Voyager minivan was stolen.

LINCOLN AVE., 400 block, 7:13 to 10 p.m. Aug 3. A 2001 Dodge Neon was stolen.

NEW HAMPSHIRE, 7600 block, July 29. A 1996 Honda Accord was damaged in an attempt to steal it.

MAPLE AVE., 7700 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 2 to 6 a.m. Aug. 3. A 2002 Dodge Dakota was stolen.
