ASSAULTS

EXECUTIVE AVE., 3800 block, 10:12 p.m. Aug. 6. During a fight, a male stabbed an Alexandria man, 24, in the arm. The man was treated at Inova Alexandria Hospital and released.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 3900 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 8. A male began talking to the wife of an Alexandria man, 23, at a bus stop. When the husband told him to stop talking to her, the male broke a beer bottle, took out a knife and struck the husband's arm. A bus arrived and the assailant followed the couple onto the bus and continued to confront the man. The driver notified police, who flagged down the bus in the 1000 block of West Glebe Road. An Arlington male, 31, was charged with felonious assault. The victim was treated by a medic unit at the scene.

REYNOLDS ST. S., 300 block, 12:15 to 12:52 a.m. Aug. 6. During a fight, two Alexandria males, 16 and 18, were stabbed. They were treated at area hospitals and released.

VAN DORN ST. S., 100 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 5. Four males accosted an Alexandria man, 55, knocked him to the ground and robbed him of an umbrella. The man was treated at a hospital and released.

CARJACKINGS

DUKE ST., 2700 block, 4:39 p.m. Aug. 8. A male forced his way into a vehicle slowed by traffic, and the female driver, 48, got out. The robber drove away in the vehicle. An off-duty police officer saw the vehicle and reported its location to police headquarters. Police located the vehicle and pursued it to the 14th Street bridge. The vehicle was driven across the bridge before it collided with several cars. It was found abandoned three blocks from the bridge. No serious injuries were reported. The next day, an Alexandria male, 29, was charged with robbery and carjacking.

ROBBERIES

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 3800 block, 5:30 a.m. Aug. 6. A male wearing a ski mask entered a business as employees opened a

door, showed a gun and robbed them of

cash.

MONTGOMERY ST., 700 block, 7 p.m. July 27. A male hit an Alexandria man, 50, in the head and knocked him down. Another male punched him and robbed him of cash. The two males fled on foot with a third male.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 600 block, 9:20 a.m. Aug. 4. A male entered a bank, implied he was armed with a weapon and robbed a teller of cash.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 800 block, 3:20 a.m. Aug. 6. A male accosted a Mechanicsville woman, 30, at a gas station and robbed her of a purse.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

COMMONWEALTH AVE., 1700 block, 3:30 a.m. Aug. 9. An Alexandria woman, 25, heard knocking at her bedroom window, looked out and didn't see anything. When she turned off her lights, she saw someone running away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FORD AVE., 4400 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 5 to 2 p.m. Aug. 7. A credit card was stolen from a business entered by forcing a door.

FORD AVE., 4400 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 5 to 8 a.m. Aug. 8. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

FORD AVE., 4400 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 5 to 9 a.m. Aug. 8. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

LEE ST. S., 300 block, 2 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 8. Cash, silverware and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

MONROE AVE. E., 1 to 100 block, 3:55 a.m. Aug. 10. Knocking was heard on several ground-floor windows of a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

PRINCE ST., 1 to 100 block, 2:53 a.m. Aug. 8. Police investigated an alarm at a business and chased two fleeing males. Two Alexandria males, ages 15 and 17, were charged with attempt statutory burglary.

QUAKER LANE N., 500 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 5 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 7. Construction equipment was stolen from a residence under renovation.

ROSEMONE AVE. W., 1 to 100 block, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9. Electronic equipment, checks and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ASCOT CT., 5500 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 5 to 7:25 a.m. Aug. 6. A silver 1992 Honda Prelude was stolen.

KENMORE AVE., 4700 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 3 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 4. A black 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen.

KENMORE AVE., 4800 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 8 to 12:45 p.m. Aug. 9. A gold 1995 Honda Accord was stolen.

RAYBURN AVE., 5700 block, 11 p.m. July 30 to 7:45 a.m. July 31. A gray 2001 Mitsubishi Montero was stolen.

WASHINGTON ST. S., 1500 block, 6 a.m. to 10:20 p.m. Aug. 5. A white 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.

FIRST ST., 1200 block, 10 to 10:45 p.m. Aug. 4. A green 1995 Honda Accord was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

28TH ST. N., 8:12 p.m. Aug. 9. A man was seen in public fondling himself. He then accosted a 6-year-old girl and touched her while fondling himself. An Arlington man, 33, was charged with aggravated sexual battery.

ASSAULTS

PARK DR. N., 300 block, 4:38 p.m. Aug. 4. During an argument amongst three juveniles and a man, one juvenile shot a pellet gun. No injuries were reported.

WALTER REED DR. S., 800 block, 8:10 a.m. Aug. 9. Three males in a vehicle made insulting religious and racial remarks to a female pedestrian. One of the males then got out and put his hands on her to prevent her from walking away.

FOUR MILE RUN DR., 4600 block, 10:05 p.m. Aug. 7. An intoxicated male received a cut on the back of his head and a cut above his left eye. No further information was provided by police.

25TH ST. S., 3400 block, 8:27 a.m. Aug. 7. During an argument, a male stabbed a man in the arm with a knife.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CRYSTAL DR. S., 1500 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

CRYSTAL DR., 2200 block, 9:19 a.m. Aug. 9. A wallet was stolen from an employee at a restaurant. A man, 49, of no fixed address, was charged with burglary.

DANIEL ST. N., 1000 block, 10:05 p.m. Aug. 8. A resident saw a person reach into the resident's bedroom window. Nothing was reported taken.

GLEBE RD. N., 1200 block, 6 a.m. Aug. 5 to noon Aug. 7. CDs were stolen from a backpack in a hotel room.

GREENBRIER ST. S., 800 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 6 to noon Aug. 7. An electronic device, bed sheets, silverware and towels were stolen from an apartment.

HARRISON ST. N., 900 block, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 4. A laptop computer, a bicycle and a backpack were stolen from a residence.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 2000 block, 5:05 p.m. Aug. 3 to 5:30 a.m. Aug. 4. Two laptop computers were stolen from two offices, and a filing cabinet was damaged.

LEE HWY., 4700 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 3 to 8 a.m. Aug. 4. A computer and a DVD player were stolen from an office.

QUEEN ST. S., 1400 block, 1:39 p.m. Aug. 7. A school was entered by breaking a window. Four juveniles were arrested.

QUINCY ST. S., 2900 block, 1:15 p.m. Aug. 6 to 6:20 a.m. Aug. 8. Computer items were stolen from a business entered by forcing a stairwell door.

NINTH ST. N., 3100 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

MEADE ST. N., 1200 block, 11:38 p.m. Aug. 8. A male was observed looking into an apartment window. He then fled.

FOURTH ST. N., 4300 block, 2:27 a.m. Aug. 5. A male looked into a window and fondled himself. An Arlington man, 26, was charged with peeping.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

COLUMBIA PIKE, 2000 block. A gold 1998 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 4300 block. A white 2001 Ford Econoline was stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 5500 block. A gray 1997 Ford Econoline was stolen.

EADS ST. S., 1600 block. A silver 2003 Dodge Dakota was stolen.

IRVING ST. N., 1200 block. A silver 2000 Toyota Camry was stolen.

LEE HWY., 4800 block. A silver 1996 Chevy Tahoe was stolen.

MONROE ST. S., 900 block. A green 2003 Mazda Protege was stolen.
