Annapolis Art Walk

Twenty galleries in downtown and historic Annapolis will host demonstrations and special exhibits during this year's Annapolis Art Walk, an annual event that showcases visual art. The following galleries, each within walking distance of the others, will participate in the event: Aurora Gallery; Natalie Silitch Folk Art Crafts and Antiques; Folk Art America; Maria's Picture Place; Dawson Gallery; Already Artists; La Petite Gallerie the Annapolis Pottery; Annapolis Publishing Co.; Ann Munro Wood Studio; Maryland Federation of Art; Whitehall Gallery; 49 West Coffeehouse, Winebar and Gallery; ARTFX; McBride Gallery; American Craftworks Collection; Gallery 1683; Main St. Gallery; Easy Street American Craft Gallery; and Annapolis Marine Art. "Reel to Reel": Reality Act

Playwright C.J. Crowe takes a different look at reality television in her newest production "Reel to Reel." The play is about a woman dying from cancer who attempts to get on a reality television show so that the production crew and the rest of the world can witness the advance of her illness. Crowe, director for Do or Die Productions, has written several interactive murder mysteries. The Dogs Get Their Day

More than 900 hounds, terriers, poodles and beagles will parade on Anne Arundel Community College's Siegert Field this weekend during the Annapolis Kennel Club's 72nd All-Breed Dog Show. Dogs will walk, run and pose in three rings while judges rate their coloring, bone structure and showmanship. Vendors will sell food and dog apparel. Gates open at 8 a.m. Show, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
