BETHESDA AREA, 1 a.m. Aug. 1. Two Washington youths were charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.
GREENVALE PKWY. W., 7000 block, 12:15 to 12:25 p.m. July 29. An attempt was made to enter a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
JONES BRIDGE RD., 4700 block, Aug. 7. In connection with an incident that had just occurred, a 27-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with fourth-degree burglary and providing false identification to a police officer; a 40-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with fourth-degree burglary and possession of fraudulent government documents; and a 28-year-old Silver Spring man was charged with fourth-degree burglary.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS
CHURCHILL TOWN SECTOR AREA, 3:30 a.m. Aug. 5. A man sexually assaulted a female at knifepoint after entering a residence by climbing through a second-floor window.
GERMANTOWN AREA, 12:30 p.m. Aug. 4. A Germantown female was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance. An investigation is continuing.
GERMANTOWN AREA, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 4. A man forced a woman to have sex with him inside an apartment. An investigation is continuing.
SENECA CROSSING, 10:50 a.m. Aug. 2. A Germantown youth said that on June 13 three men forced her into a burgundy car and drove to a wooded area near an elementary school, where they sexually assaulted her. They then drove her back to her home.
INDECENT EXPOSURE
CRYSTAL HILL CIR., 20000 block, Aug. 2. A man standing at a window inside a ground- floor apartment exposed himself to a female pedestrian.
ASSAULTS
SCHAFFER ROAD AND BURDETTE LANE, Aug. 6. A 22-year-old man was charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment in connection with an incident that had just occurred.
WONDERLAND WAY, 13100 block, 5:51 p.m. Aug. 7. Three men assaulted a youth at knifepoint after he allowed them into his residence. The victim received a minor cut that did not require medical treatment.
ROBBERIES
APPLEGRATH WAY, 11400 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 6. A gunman and two accomplices demanded cash from a 50-year-old pedestrian. When she struggled, they fled empty-handed. The victim did not require medical attention.
ARCHDALE RD., 19300 block, 9:45 a.m. Aug. 4. A man armed with a knife and a male accomplice tried to steal a pedestrian's backpack from her. She escaped and they fled empty-handed.
ARCHDALE RD., 19300 block, 3 a.m. Aug. 6. Two men struck a 23-year-old Silver Spring man in the head with a hammer and a baseball bat. He was treated at a hospital.
GUNNERS BRANCH ROAD NEAR MIDRIDGE ROAD, Aug. 6. A gunman demanded cash and struck a 66-year-old Florida man in the head as he got out of his car. The victim shouted and the assailant and two male accomplices fled empty-handed.
STALEYBRIDGE DR., 19000 block, 11:45 p.m. Aug. 6. Four men robbed a 25-year-old pedestrian of cash at knifepoint.
STONEBRIDGE TERR., 13500 block, 1:23 a.m. Aug. 4. Two gunmen forced a motorist from his car. One of the men got in and drove it away. The other assailant fled in a dark-colored car.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18400 block, midnight to 12:14 a.m. Aug. 7. Two men assaulted a man in a courtyard at this address. The man was treated at a local hospital and released.
MUDDY BRANCH SHOPPING CENTER, 7:35 p.m. July 4. A man assaulted a man in a shopping center parking lot. The man was treated at a hospital and released.
WASHINGTONIAN BLVD., 9800 block, 1:30 a.m. Aug. 8. After a verbal dispute, a person threatened a 19-year-old co-worker at knifepoint.
ROBBERIES
AMITY CIR., 8200 block, 11:40 p.m. Aug. 5. Three men robbed a pedestrian of his cash at knifepoint.
CENTERWAY RD., 9100 block, 9:50 p.m. Aug. 8. A man grabbed the knapsack of a 49-year-old pedestrian. She resisted and fell during the struggle. The assailant grabbed the bag and fled with two male accomplices. He then dropped the bag a short distance later. The woman was slightly injured, but required no medical treatment.
DOWNING ST., 17100 block, 2:15 a.m. Aug. 9. Four men and two women assaulted and robbed a 49-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman outside a residence. As they fled, the assailants dropped the property they had taken. The victims were treated for injuries at a hospital.
WATER STREET AND MILLS ROAD, 10:12 p.m. Aug. 4. A man grabbed a woman's purse. She resisted, and he fled empty-handed.

CLAYHILL ST., 400 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 4. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage door.
DIAMOND AVE. E., 200 block, Aug. 3. A 19-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with second-degree burglary in connection with an incident at this address June 16.

GREY EAGLE CT., 12600 block, Aug. 7. A 24-year-old man was charged with first- and second-degree assault in connection with an incident that had just occurred.

HERRINGTON MANOR DR., 12900 block, 10:05 p.m. Aug. 2. A gunman robbed a 37-year-old Silver Spring man and a 42-year-old Rockville man of cash and fled with a male accomplice.
WILLOWBROOK DR., 10600 block, 1 a.m. Aug. 6. A male youth who accompanied a male acquaintance to a wooded area was assaulted and robbed by the acquaintance and several other males. The victim received treatment for his injures at a hospital.

CASTLE BLVD., 13900 block, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 3. A Forestville youth and a 16-year-old Burtonsville male were assaulted by a group of male youths. The Forestville victim was struck with a bat and treated at a hospital for his injuries.
CASTLE BOULEVARD AND BRIGGS CHANEY ROAD, Aug. 8. A 34-year-old woman was charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment in connection with an incident that had just occurred.
GARLAND AVE., 8800 block, 9:50 p.m. July 31. A 32-year-old man was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree assault and with carrying a concealed weapon in connection with an incident that had just occurred.

DALE DRIVE AND DARTMOUTH ROAD, 8:20 p.m. Aug. 3. A man assaulted a 36-year-old pedestrian, robbed him of a wallet, and fled with a male accomplice.
GRUBB RD., 8500 block, 3:45 p.m. Aug. 4. Two men armed with unidentified weapons robbed a 31-year-old man of property as he was getting out of his vehicle.
LOCKWOOD DR., 11500 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 3. A gunman robbed a youth of his bicycle.
NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11200 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 8. A 46-year-old man at a bus stop accepted an offer of a ride from three men in a vehicle. After he got in they verbally assaulted him and robbed him of property. They then forced him out of the vehicle.
WHISPERING PINES DR., 3200 block, 4:01 a.m. Aug. 2. Two gunmen demanded property from a man entering his residence. He refused, and they fled in a vehicle.
