Final Weekend for Play

The final performances of the Hard Bargain Players' production of Eve Ensler's award-winning play "The Vagina Monologues" are this weekend. The work is a series of soliloquies illuminating the female experience. Dance, Music and Poetry

Musicians, poets and dancers will take to the stage from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the annual Cultural Art Showcase at the Hillcrest Heights Community Center. Jazz, gospel, rhythm and blues and reggae will be included. There will also be a belly dancing demonstration and a modern dance performance by Tiffany Poindexter and her company.
