* CHELSEA GODBOUT, Reservoir, Jr.: Midfielder posted a team-high 14 goals and eight assists to lead the Gators (10-4-1) to the 2A South Region final last fall.

* KATE NICHOLSON, Atholton, Jr.: Forward recorded 11 goals and nine assists to lead the Raiders to their first state tournament appearance last fall.

* DANIELLE ROSANOVA, Centennial, Sr.: One of the county's top defenders last season, Rosanova posted three goals and two assists. She will move to midfield to replace three-time All-Met Hayley Siegel for the defending county and 3A East Region champion.

* JANA STAMBAUGH, Chapelgate, Sr.: Midfielder posted nine goals and 16 assists to lead her team to the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland C Conference title last season.

* ERIKA THEISEN, River Hill, Jr.: Midfielder scored 13 goals and added eight assists to lead the Hawks, who return six starters from a team that reached the 3A East Region final.

* SARAH THOMAS, Centennial, Sr.: Transfer from Oakland Mills recorded five goals and an assist for the Scorpions and will fill the vacancy left by forward Mandy Paizs (12 goals, five assists), who is now playing for the University of Maryland.

* NIKKI WELCH, Wilde Lake, Sr.: Team's top defender recorded three goals and two assists last season. She will see time at midfield to compensate for the loss of Ashley Myrick (12 goals, seven assists), who suffered a season-ending knee injury this summer.
