* MOSTAFA EBRAHIMNEJAD, Hammond, Jr.: One of the county's top midfielders is expected to play a vital role for a team that won a school-record eight league games last fall after winning just two in 2003.

* JUSTIN MARTINELLI, Mount Hebron, Jr.: Midfielder compiled 10 goals and three assists to lead his team to a share of the county title with River Hill.

* MATT MOSS, River Hill, Sr.: Goalkeeper returns to the starting lineup for the third straight year after allowing just nine goals in 17 games last fall.

* MATT STARA, River Hill, Sr.: Defender posted two goals and 20 assists to lead his team to its third consecutive 3A title.

* WILL SWAIM, Howard, Sr.: After starting in goal three years, he turns the position over to junior Paul Jester so he can play midfield; Coach Brian Boussy feels Swaim is the team's top field player.

* SCOTT TEMPLIN, Wilde Lake, Sr.: Forward posted a team-high eight goals to go along with four assists to lead his team to the quarterfinals of the 3A East Region tournament.
