Glencarlyn Road Baptist Church in the Falls Church area will close its doors Sept. 30. The church is consolidating with Columbia Baptist Church, on West Columbia Street at Lee Highway, and will reopen as a branch of the congregation next Easter. Glencarlyn Road officials cited declining membership as the reason for the decision to merge the two churches.
