ROUTE 4, 11:45 a.m. Aug. 18. Two men, 33 and 35, refused to pull over for a traffic stop. A chase ensued. The vehicle spun out while trying to drive into a driveway. The two men fled on foot. A short time later, the 35-year-old man was apprehended at a residence he had broken into. He was charged with burglary and served with other outstanding warrants. The other suspect remains at large.
North Beach Area
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
NORTH BEACH, July 15 to Aug. 12. Metal signs, light covers, a shower handle, an outside water faucet handle, sandbags, wooden benches, a tent and four wooden beams have been damaged on the town's boardwalk.
Prince Frederick Area
ROUTE 2/4, 7:45 a.m. Aug. 13. A man, 34, stole a passenger bus from Capitol Heights. He was charged with auto theft and driving on a suspended license.

Bel Alton Area
CRAIN HWY., 9100 block, 2 to 6:20 a.m. Aug. 23. Someone forced entry into Apehanger's Bar and stole cash.
Indian Head Area
INDIAN HEAD HWY., 4600 block, Aug. 21. A man, 23, was arrested in connection with a robbery and shooting of a man, 25, on Aug. 5. He was charged with attempted murder. A man, 21, and a boy, 15, were charged previously with attempted murder in the shooting and robbery. At the time of the shooting, the victim was taken to University of Maryland Medical Center, treated and released.
BARRINGTON DR., 12:53 a.m. Aug. 22. Three men, all 18, robbed two other men, both 20, while they sat in a vehicle. The suspects were charged with first-degree assault and theft less than $500.
CRAIN HWY., 2200 block, 5:28 p.m. Aug. 20. Two suspects robbed Next Car All Vehicle Rentals. One was armed with a handgun. They fled on foot.
MALL CIR., 11100 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 17. A man, 20, and two boys, 15 and 16, robbed a man behind Loews Cineplex. They were charged with robbery and theft. The boys were also charged with second-degree assault.
SMALLWOOD DR. WEST, 1100 block, 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23. A man gave a bank teller a note at Chevy Chase Bank and demanded money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled with cash.
UNIVERSITY DR. AND BLACKPOOL CIR., 3 a.m. Aug. 21. A man, 18, was stabbed in the leg during a fight with an unidentified male. He was treated at Civista Medical Center for minor injuries.
CARBERRY CT., 6 p.m. Aug. 20 to 7 a.m. Aug. 22. Plywood and two-by-fours were stolen from a construction site in the Hunter's Run subdivision.
CRAIN HWY., 2300 block, 3:41 a.m. Aug. 23. A woman entered a BP gas station and asked the clerk for assistance in changing a tire on her vehicle. While the clerk was assisting the woman, a man entered the business and stole money from the cash register. The man fled on foot. The woman fled in a sky blue Honda Accord.
WALDORF BUSINESS SQ., 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12 to 9 a.m. Aug. 15. The rear license plate on a vehicle parked at Three Brothers Autos was stolen.
St. Mary's County

THREE NOTCH RD., Aug.24. A 31-year-old male employee of Nicolletti's Pizza used his key to go into the restaurant while it was closed and steal cash from the safe. He was charged with second-degree burglary and theft of more than $500.
Lexington Park Area
LEXINGTON PARK, 10:55 p.m. Aug. 20. A man, 34, held a knife to a man's head and threatened to kill him after they had fought over who was stronger. He was charged with assault.
MECHANICSVILLE, 10:53 p.m. Aug. 17. A man, 39, and a woman, 44, assaulted each other. They were charged with assault.
