Brooklyn Park Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

KRAMME AVE., 5200 block, 1:21 a.m. Aug. 26. Police arrested three juveniles found pushing two all-terrain vehicles near the intersection of Fifth Street and Hague Avenue in Baltimore. A BB gun was recovered. Police later learned that the vehicles had been stolen from a shed and that the vehicles' owner's dog had been shot in the eye with a BB gun during a burglary attempt the night before. Each of the three was charged with second-degree burglary, trespassing, animal cruelty and theft over $500.

Glen Burnie Area

ASSAULTS

ROWE DR., 1400 block, 10:10 p.m. Aug. 18. Two males got out of a white Chevrolet pickup and assaulted a male pedestrian at knifepoint. After stabbing the victim in the abdomen, the assailants fled in the vehicle.

ROBBERIES

AQUAHART RD., 1-100 block, 12:40 a.m. Aug. 26. Two males, one of them armed with a box-cutter knife, entered a fast-food restaurant after closing and assaulted an employee who would not give them cash. After discovering the cash register was empty, they forced two employees into the manager's office, removed cash from a deposit bag, and fled. No injuries requiring medical attention were reported.

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLIS BLVD., 7000 block, 11:57 a.m. Aug. 19. Two males armed with a shotgun forced a delivery person to the ground at a gas station and robbed him of four cases of cigarettes.

HOSPITAL DR., 300 block, 6:18 p.m. Aug. 21. A male wearing a black cap and a towel over his face grabbed a woman in a store after closing time and put a knife to her throat. He threw the woman to the floor and robbed the cash registers, then fled. No injuries were reported.

MARLEY STATION MALL, 10:45 p.m. Aug. 24. Three males came up behind a man unlocking his bike in a parking lot and shoved him to the ground. They kicked the victim several times in the face and chest and robbed him of his backpack.

RITCHIE HWY., 6600 block, 6:59 a.m. Aug. 20. A man assaulted a female employee and robbed a restaurant of cash. A short time later, police arrested a 30-year-old Baltimore man. The employee was treated for a concussion and an injured hand.

Lothian Area

ROBBERIES

SANDS ROAD AND MOUNT ZION MARLBORO ROAD, 6:05 p.m. Aug. 20. Four males asked a 24-year-old motorist stopped at a stop sign for a ride. A gun was then held against the motorist's neck by one assailant while another flattened all the vehicle tires, smashed the passenger's-side window, and grabbed three $50 bills that were in plain view on the center console. The assailants then stepped away and the motorist sped off. No injuries were reported.

Severn Area

ASSAULTS

MEADE VILLAGE RD., 1700 block, 12:33 a.m. Aug. 24. Police responding to a report of a shooting found a 17-year-old Severn male with a gunshot wound to the groin. A short time later, police stopped a vehicle that had been seen fleeing the area and arrested three District men, two 18-year-olds and a 22-year-old. Each was charged with attempted first-degree murder and the use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence. Two of the three also were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Police recovered two loaded handguns and a small quantity of crack cocaine. The 17-year-old victim was treated at a shock trauma hospital and released.

ASSAULTS

TYLER AVE., 1300 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 19. A person was knocked to the ground and then punched and kicked.

ROBBERIES

ANNAPOLIS STREET AND TAYLOR AVENUE, 12:24 a.m. Aug. 20. A purse was forcefully taken from a woman by a male acquaintance.

CATHEDRAL STREET, 100 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 23. Two males assaulted a man and robbed him of a wallet and car keys.

FOREST ROAD AND BAY RIDGE AVENUE, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 23. Two males assaulted a 17-year-old and robbed him of cash and a moped.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLLEGE AVE., 1-100 block, Aug. 23. A storage area and a dorm room on a college campus were entered by breaking windows.

MADISON ST., 1000 block, Aug. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a screen.

MELROSE ST., 700 block, Aug. 18. Credit cards was stolen from a residence.

PEARSON PT., 700 block, Aug. 17. A refrigerator was stolen from a residence under construction.

VIRGINIA AVE., 1800 block, Aug. 22. A DVD was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

WEST ST., 1700 block, Aug. 17. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

WEST STREET AND ADMIRAL DRIVE, 8:54 a.m. Aug. 20. Tags were stolen from a vehicle. An arrest was made and the plates were recovered.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

EASTPORT TERR., 1100 block, Aug. 21 to Aug. 22. A 1995 Dodge was stolen by a relative of the owner who had the keys. The vehicle was recovered.
