Clarksville Area

THEFT/BREAK-IN

KENTBURY DR., 12900 block, 9:20 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 19. Two laptop computers, a Nikon digital camera and medication were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

Columbia Area

ROBBERY

CRADLEROCK WAY, 7200 block, 1:20 a.m. Aug. 23. A male assaulted a male who had just walked out of a bar; the attacker demanded cash while striking the bar patron's face and head. The victim complied, and the assailant fled. The victim was taken to a hospital for his injuries.

QUIET TIMES, 6100 block, 12:40 a.m. Aug. 20. A group of about 10 males accosted a pedestrian, who was then assaulted. A boy, age 17, two men, age 18, and two men, age 22, were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CARAVAN CT., 6800 block, 4:07 p.m. Aug. 18. Golf clubs were stolen from an open residential garage.

CROSS FOX LANE, 10400 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 19 to 1 p.m. Aug. 20. An attempt was made to enter a tennis club by cutting window screens and forcing windows open.

GRAMERCY PL., 10600 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 19 to 8:45 a.m. Aug. 23. An apartment door was opened by forcing a lock open. Nothing was reported stolen.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CIR., 10600 block, 4:30 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 18. Someone entered the residence of an acquaintance and was asked by a resident to leave. The intruder complied, and a video game system and games were later reported missing.

HARPERS FARM RD., 5600 block, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 21. A DVD player was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a window and screen.

HARPERS FARM RD., 5900 block, 11:08 a.m. Aug. 22. A man entered an apartment by kicking a front door and attempted to stab residents. A man, age 39, was arrested.

OAKLAND MILLS RD., 7200 block, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 17. Coins and other cash were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding front window.

MURRAY HILL RD., 7600 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 18 to 7 a.m. Aug. 19. Cash was stolen from a register at a business entered by throwing a large rock through a front window.

SILENT MOON RUN, 6400 block, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 16 to 4 a.m. Aug. 17. Cash, credit cards and bank cards were stolen from a kitchen at a residence entered through an open garage door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CROSS FOX LANE, 10400 block, 10:29 p.m. Aug. 23. A silver 2000 Nissan Xterra was stolen.

NIGHTMIST CT., 10300 block, 7:30 to 8:42 a.m. Aug. 19. A tan 2003 Chrysler Town & Country van was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HANOVER RD., 6200 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 19 to 5:11 a.m. Aug. 20. A vacant home was entered by breaking a sliding back door lock. The property was vandalized.

HUNT HILL DR., 5800 block, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

LOUDON AVE., 6300 block, 9:13 p.m. Aug. 18. Cash, a fanny pack, prescriptions and other property were stolen from a bedroom at a residence apparently entered through an unlocked bedroom window.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7300 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 22 to 6:15 a.m. Aug. 23. A generator and a power-washer were stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7500 block, 5:17 a.m. Aug. 24. Tools were stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

KARAS WALK, 6100 block, 9:05 p.m. Aug. 20 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21. A purple 1998 Acura Integra was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 8300 block, 3:55 a.m. Aug. 23. Police responded to an alarm sounding at a gas station and found a metal back door had been opened by force, and an attempt had been made to open an automated teller machine. Nothing was reported stolen.

OAKTON LANE, 8400 block, Aug. 11 to Aug. 21. Jewelry and clothing were stolen from a residence.

OXBOW CT., 4300 block, Aug. 7 to Aug. 21. Golf equipment was stolen from a residential garage.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

CHATFIELD LANE, 7700 block, 12:38 p.m. Aug. 18. A silver 1999 Acura Integra was stolen.

ROBBERY

MONTEVIDEO ROAD AND WASHINGTON BOULEVARD, 6:18 p.m. Aug. 18. Someone was threatened and robbed of two home theater systems.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8100 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 22 to 7 a.m. Aug. 23. Locks were cut off two construction-site trailers. Nothing was reported stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

BIRCHWOOD WAY, 8800 block, 9:45 p.m. Aug. 17 to 6:31 a.m. Aug. 18. A silver 1999 Honda Civic was stolen.

COVERED WAGON DR., 9700 block, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 18 to 6:50 a.m. Aug. 19. A white 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.

FREESTATE DR., 8800 block, 4:25 p.m. Aug. 22. A burgundy Mercury Sable was stolen.

BALTIMORE ST., 8800 block, 12:40 a.m. Aug. 23. A shed was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

STORCH WOODS DR., 8800 block, 11:15 p.m. Aug. 17. A bike and a tent were stolen from a storage unit.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

SAVAGE GUILFORD RD., 8200 block, 4:21 a.m. Aug. 23. A red 1999 Chevrolet S10 pick up truck was stolen and later recovered. Three boys were arrested.
