Other Games

Dominion (3-7) at George Mason (5-5)

When: Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m.

Outlook: Four of George Mason's losses last season were to Class A playoff teams -- three by seven points or fewer -- and the other was a season-opening 27-0 loss to Broad Run. The Mustangs, a run-oriented team, should test the Titans. Look for Dominion senior QB Chris Whipple, the AA Dulles District's leading returning passer, to come out firing against the smaller squad.

Manassas Park (14-0) at Potomac Falls (4-6)

When: Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m.

Outlook: The Cougars are the Virginia A Division 2 champions and have posted back-to-back unbeaten regular seasons. All-Met Zach Terrell (4,523 total offensive yards) has graduated, but his cousin, Jay Terrell, and all-region OL Bucky Griffith will prove a stiff test for the Panthers defense, which will be led by senior LB Jay Branom.

Millbrook (2-8) at Heritage (3-7)

When: Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m.

Outlook: The third-year Pioneers continue to progress, but this game offers the fourth-year Pride a chance to set the tone for what the team hopes will be its first winning season. Heritage defeated Millbrook, 26-19, in last year's opener with QB Bryan Brosnan throwing for 243 yards in his debut as the team's starter.

Musselman, W.Va. (5-5) at Loudoun County (2-8)

When: Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m.

Outlook: The Raiders played tough at Musselman a year ago before falling, 38-27. Loudoun County did get nice production from its passing game in the outing -- and scored its second-most points of the season. That should bode well for senior QB Pat McDonough, who will playing in his first varsity game and his first football game in two years.

Paul VI Catholic (1-9) at Broad Run (6-4)

When: Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m.

Outlook: Spartans senior TB Thayer Nelson, who totaled 1,246 yards rushing last season and averaged 8.3 yards per carry, could have a field day against the Panthers (WCAC). Ten running backs rushed for more than 100 yards against Paul VI last season, including three in one game.

Bye week: Loudoun Valley, Park View and Stone Bridge.
