BRYAN CYR, Severna Park, Sr.: Finished neck and neck with Arundel's Devon Gillett at the state championships, placing 20th in 17:57.

NICK FOSTER, Severn, Jr.: In a breakout sophomore season, he routinely finished under 18 minutes and placed in the top five in three regular season meets.

DEVON GILLETT, Arundel, Jr.: Placed in the top three in two meets during the regular season, then finished 19th at the state championships in 17:57.

MATT LLANO, Broadneck, Sr.: Finished the 4A East Region championship in 15:42.

LIYA KASIMOVA, Severna Park, Soph.: Hopes to improve on last year's fourth-place finish at the 3A state meet.

MARISSA McPHAIL, Arundel, Sr.: A top county finisher for three years, she placed second in the 4A East Region and sixth at the state championships.

STEPHANIE MIKLOS, South River, Sr.: Finished a career-best 13th in the state meet two weeks after finishing eighth in the county.

CLAIRE PATTERSON, Spalding, Soph.: The Cavaliers' No. 1 or 2 runner last season, Patterson routinely finished in under 21 minutes.

TAIT WOODWARD, Broadneck, Jr.: Won the county championship and finished second in the 4A state meet in 19: 59.
