THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BUSCHS FRONTAGE RD., 300 block, 7 to 8:15 a.m. Aug. 27. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Brooklyn Park Area

KIDNAPPINGS

WEST MEADOW RD., 100 block, July 14. A 5-month-old boy was kidnapped after having been placed in a relative's home because of possible neglect. On Aug. 29, police found the baby and arrested his parents at his grandmother's residence. In good condition, the baby was taken to the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. A 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman from Baltimore were charged with abduction of a child under 12 years of age.

ASSAULTS

RITCHIE HWY., 4000 block, 11:53 p.m. Aug. 26. Responding to a report of an assault, police found a 39-year-old man who had been knocked to the ground was suffering head injuries. A short time later, two men were arrested at Jeffery and Third streets in Baltimore, and the victim's cell phone was found nearby. Two Baltimore men, ages 23 and 24, were charged with assault and robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARUNDEL MILLS CIR., 7000 block, 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

BON AIR RD., 1-100 block, Aug. 24 to Aug. 25. Lawn-care equipment was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

KRAMME AVE., 5200 block, 1:21 a.m. Aug. 26. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door. Two 12-year-olds and a 15-year-old were arrested.

SIXTH AVE. W., 100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 13 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 14. Tools were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a door lock.

15TH AVE., 100 block, 7 a.m. a 25 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

DEFENSE HWY., 2100 block, 7:22 a.m. Aug. 27. A cash register was stolen from a business entered by breaking glass in a front door.

MAYFIELD RD., 1500 block, Aug. 13 to Aug. 25. Lawn equipment was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

ROUTE 3 N., 700 block, 4:33 to 4:36 a.m. Aug. 25. A cash register was stolen from a business entered through a front door.

ROUTE 3 N., 700 block, 4:30 a.m. Aug. 27. Cash, IDs and liquor were stolen from a business.

ASSAULTS

CRAIN HIGHWAY AND FURNACE BRANCH ROAD, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Five males knocked a 20-year-old Severn man to the ground and slashed him with a sharp object. The victim was treated for multiple lacerations at a local hospital.

ROBBERIES

CRAIN HIGHWAY AND ROOSEVELT AVENUE, 2 a.m. Aug. 30. A cab driver was robbed by a man who left incriminating evidence in the cab. A short time later, police arrested a 20-year-old Glen Burnie man in Glen Burnie.

TAYLOR AVE. N., 100 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 28. Facing charges of impersonating a police officer, first- and third-degree burglary, robbery and theft under $500, a man, 19, turned himself in to police.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AMERICANA CIR., 7800 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 25 to 10:23 a.m. Aug. 26. Cash was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

AMERICANA CIR., 7800 block, 7:15 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Aug. 26. A residence was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

BENMERE RD., 1-100 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 22 to 8:40 a.m. Aug. 24. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

EDGERLY RD., 900 block, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22. Drugs were stolen from a residence entered through a door.

EVERETT RD., 500 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 25 to 10:20 a.m. Aug. 26. A cash register was stolen from a business entered through a door.

GLEN MAR RD., 400 block, 7:30 to 8 a.m. Aug. 27. Audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

RITCHIE HWY. E., 6900 block, 2:34 to 2:35 a.m. Aug. 22. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a back door.

ROSE ANNE RD., 900 block, Aug. 23 to Aug. 24. Clothing, equipment, tools and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side door.

SOUTHFIELD RD., 100 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 23 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 24. A residence was entered by cutting a door lock.

SOUTHFIELD RD., 100 block, 8 p.m. au23 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 24. A residence was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

SOUTHFIELD RD., 1-100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 23 to 9:10 a.m. Aug. 24. A motorcycle was stolen from a residence entered by cutting a door

lock.

Linthicum Area

ROBBERIES

ANDOVER ROAD, 1 a.m. Aug. 28. Four men in a dark-colored sedan offered a ride to a pedestrian and then took him to a wooded area near Andover Apache Fields, where he was choked, dragged out of the car, and robbed of his cell phone and wallet.

Millersville Area

ROBBERIES

KEITH CT., 200 block, 10:44 p.m. Aug. 26. Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed a 17-year-old Severn youth of cash and a cell phone. The same two assailants robbed five more males in the immediate area, including two juveniles. One shot was fired.

Odenton Area

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1400 block, 4:30 to 7:03 p.m. Aug. 28. Auto parts were stolen from a business.

ARTILLERY CT., 300 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 26 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 28. Property was stolen from a residence.

Pasadena Area

ROUTE 2 N., 8100 block, 9:48 p.m. Aug. 27. A man armed with a sawed-off shotgun robbed a gas station of cash and fled in a silver

minivan.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SUTTON DR., 600 block, Aug. 26. Equipment was stolen from a residence.

Severn Area

ASSAULTS

BRAGG WAY S., 1900 block, 10:06 p.m. Aug. 26. Shots were fired from the rear of a home into the kitchen and the living room, which an occupant had just left. No injuries were reported.

BENT BOUGH RD., 7900 block, 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Jewelry, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

NEW CUT RD., 8000 block, 10:28 p.m. Aug. 24. Property was stolen from abusiness.

SEBRING CT., 8200 block, 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. Aug. 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

INVERNESS RD., 100 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 13 to 8 a.m. Aug. 27. Cash, firearms, tools and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence.

ASSAULTS

MADISON ST., 1000 block, 4 a.m. Aug. 27. A 38-year-old Glen Burnie man was shot in the leg.

MADISON ST., 1100 block, 11:16 a.m. Aug. 29. A person was assaulted by a person armed with a knife.

PRESIDENT ST., 1000 block, 6:17 p.m. Aug. 28. A man slapped a woman in the face several times. When confronted by a bystander, the assailant ran into a residence and returned with a knife. He was threatening further attacks when police arrived. A 46-year-old Annapolis man was charged him with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and a weapons violation.

OLD SOLOMON ISLAND RD., 100 block, 4 a.m. Aug. 28. Jewelry was taken during a robbery at knifepoint.

WEST ST., 1-100 block, 11;03 a.m. Aug. 24. A purse was snatched.

CLAY ST., 1-100 block, Aug. 24. A pit bull puppy was stolen from a yard.

DUKE OF GLOUCESTER ST., 200 block, Aug. 19 to 20. A business was entered by forcing a door.

EAGLEWOOD AND TALLWOOD ROADS, Aug. 24 to Aug. 25. A generator was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck.

FOREST DR., 1700 block, 8:39 p.m. Aug. 24. Steaks and shrimp were shoplifted and recovered. An arrest was made.

MAIN ST., 100 block, Aug. 25 to Aug. 29. Cash was stolen from a building.

MCGUCKIAN ST., 1800 block, Aug. 25 to 26. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.
