Giant Food Fundraiser
Collects $1 Million
Giant Food of Landover has raised $1 million to benefit the Children's Cancer Foundation. The money was collected through the Triple Winner program, a scratch-card promotion. Customers could purchase $1 tickets that offered free products, gift certificates or cash prizes. Together, Giant Food and its sister company, Stop & Shop Supermarket Co., have raised $6 million through the promotion.
