Clarksville Area


JOHNS HOPKINS RD., 11400 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 21 to 7:10 a.m. Aug. 23. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a window screen open.


AUTO DR., 12400 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 25. A 1991 Nissan truck was stolen.

Columbia Area


CRADLEROCK WAY, 7100 block, 10:10 to 10:14 p.m. Aug. 30. A male with a handgun robbed a pedestrian of a backpack, which contained magazines, a hand-held music player and a foam-rubber-basketball hoop.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, 9:40 p.m. Aug. 30. Three males accosted a male and demanded cash. The male attempted to flee and was struck in the face, forced to the ground and robbed of cash.

TALISMAN LANE, 7200 block, 5:40 p.m. Aug. 27. Two males assaulted a person and took a backpack at gunpoint.

TOLLING CLOCK WAY, 10500 block, 3:42 p.m. Aug. 29. Four males accosted a male, assaulted him and robbed him of a wallet.


COVINGTON DR., 6100 block, 4:37 p.m. Aug. 25. A representative from a repossession company attempted to enter a residential garage to retrieve a vehicle.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 11600 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 26 to 9 a.m. Aug. 27. A computer was damaged, and food from a snack bar was eaten at a neighborhood pool entered by jumping a surrounding fence.

PHELPS LUCK DR., 5300 block, 3:01 a.m. Aug. 30. A hole was found in the corrugated roof of a nursery. Two males were seen fleeing the area. Nothing was reported stolen.

SMOOTH MEADOW WAY, 5300 block, 10:50 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 29. Prescriptions were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.


BASKET RING RD., 9600 block, 6:52 a.m. Aug. 24. A gold 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.

CRADLEROCK WAY, 7000 block, 4:51 a.m. Aug. 27. A stolen vehicle was recovered.

GRACIOUS END CT., 9100 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 28 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 29. A white 1998 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CIR., 10800 block, noon Aug. 29. A green 1998 Dodge Stratus was stolen.

JUNE APPLE CT., 6600 block, 6:14 a.m. Aug. 31. Cash and a computer were stolen from a residence.

LIGHTSPUN LANE, 5800 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 26 to 11:25 a.m. Aug. 27. A green 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.

OAKLAND MILLS RD., 7300 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 30 to 3:30 a.m. Aug. 31. A videogame system was stolen from a second-floor apartment entered through an unlocked window.

ROBERT FULTON DR., 8700 block, 6:25 a.m. Aug. 25. A white Ford 24-foot truck was stolen.

SPIRAL CUT LANE, 8800 block, 2:27 p.m. Aug. 29. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle by popping an ignition.

TAMAR DR., 8800 block, 7:15 a.m. Aug. 29. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle by popping an ignition.

Elkridge Area


MONTGOMERY RD., 6100 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 26 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 27. Candy, sodas, snacks and two coolers were stolen from a park concession-stand trailer entered by forcing a lock open. A pavilion at the park was vandalized.


MONTGOMERY RD., 6600 block, 5:26 a.m. Aug. 31. A 1988 Ford F150 pickup truck was stolen.

Ellicott City Area


BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 10300 block, 2:30 a.m. Aug. 30. A male entered a residence and fled when he was seen.

GRAYWING CT., 5300 block, 6:30 to 7:28 p.m. Aug. 27. A digital videocamera, DVDs and cosmetics were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

GREENWAY DR., 3200 block, 1 to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 30. Jumper cables were stolen from an open residential garage.

HIBISCUS CT., 3300 block, 1 a.m. to 8:01 a.m. Aug. 25. Two purses and a duffel bag were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

OLD ANNAPOLIS RD., 8900 block, 8:25 p.m. Aug. 30. A police officer saw two males entering a building. Two men, ages 22 and 35, were arrested.


HIBISCUS CT., 3300 block, 7:18 a.m. Aug. 24. Two minibikes were stolen.

Fulton Area


HALL SHOP RD., 12500 block, 12:38 p.m. Aug. 28. Construction materials were stolen from a house under construction. A white pickup truck occupied by two males was seen being driven into the garage at the house.

Glenwood Area


ROUTE 97, 2400 block, 12:35 a.m. Aug. 26. Cash was stolen from a register and scratch-off lottery tickets were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window.

ROUTE 97, 2400 block, 12:38 a.m. Aug. 26. A business was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

Hanover Area


O'CONNOR DR., 6900 block, 4:11 a.m. Aug. 27. A Yamaha ATV was stolen from a business entered by cutting a lock off a gate.

Jessup Area


ASSATEAGUE DR., 7400 block, 7:36 a.m. Aug. 27. A male entered a stockroom of a business and fled after he was seen by an employee.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8000 block, 9:48 a.m. Aug. 24. A teal 2000 Mercury Sable was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8300 block, 3:14 a.m. Aug. 25. An attempt was made to enter a business by forcing a front door open.

Laurel Area


WASHINGTON BLVD., 10000 block, 11:15 a.m. Aug. 24. A male entered a business, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded cash. The employee complied.


CLIFFORD CT., 8100 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 23 to 7 a.m. Aug. 24. A police officer conducted a check of a water tower and saw a group of people inside the water tower fence. The group fled when noticed. Several arrests were made.

EASTERN MORNING RUN, 8500 block, 8:10 a.m. Aug. 26 to 12:35 a.m. Aug. 27. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement sliding back door open.


BLUES ALY, 9100 block, 10:14 a.m. Aug. 27. An Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen.

COUNTRY MEADOWS LANE, 9700 block, 10:12 a.m. Aug. 26. A blue 2001 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 9900 block, 1:34 p.m. Aug. 28. A white 1995 Honda Civic was stolen.
