BUSCHS FRONTAGE RD., 300 block, 7 to 8:15 a.m. Aug. 27. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

OLD ADMIRAL CT., 2000 block, 2:25 p.m. Aug. 31. A radio was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a window.

WILLOW ST., 1-100 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 28 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 29. Computer equipment was stolen from a business entered by breaking a rear glass door.

Brooklyn Park Area

ASSAULTS

FOURTH ST., 4600 block, 4:46 p.m. Sept. 1. During an argument in a store, a woman pulled out a sharp object, possibly a box cutter, and slashed another woman. A 24-year-old woman suffered a gash across her right cheek and several small cuts on her arm and back. She received stitches. Charges were filed for first- and second-degree assault for a 48-year-old woman. Police were looking for her.

ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 4500 block, 8:57 p.m. Sept. 4. Two males in the parking lot of a gas station punched a man in the face and robbed him of his cell phone.

BON AIR RD., 1-100 block, Aug. 24 to Aug. 25. Lawn and other equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

DORIS AVE., 400 block, 10:45 a.m. Aug. 25. A residence was entered by forcing a rear window. Nothing was reported missing.

KRAMME AVE., 5200 block, 1:21 a.m. Aug. 26. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

WEST MEADOW RD., 100 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 29 to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 30. A bicycle was stolen from a residence entered through a door.

FOURTH ST., 5100 block, 4:09 a.m. Aug. 25. A residence was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

SIXTH AVE. W., 100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 13 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 14. Tools were stolen from a business entered by cutting a door lock.

15TH AVE. W., 100 block, 7 a.m. Aug. 25 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a business entered through an unlocked door.

JOHNS HOPKINS RD., 2100 block, 10:51 p.m. Sept. 1. Two males, one armed with a gun, demanded cash from a pizza delivery driver. The driver struggled with one male and drove away without giving up cash.

DEFENSE HWY., 2100 block, 7:22 a.m. Aug. 27. A cash register was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

ROUTE 3 N., 700 block, 4:33 to 4:36 a.m. Aug. 25. A cash register was stolen from a business entered through a front door.

ROUTE 3 N., 700 block, 4:30 a.m. Aug. 27. Cash, IDs and liquor were stolen from a business.

HOMICIDES

ARWELL CT., 1900 block, 1 a.m. Sept. 3. Police, responding to a report of a shooting, discovered the body of Edward Grunell Howard Jr., 34, of Severn. An autopsy was to be performed to determine the cause of death.

MARLEY STATION MALL, 9:18 p.m. Sept. 3. Kevin Michael Weingart, 17, of Glen Burnie, died after being stabbed in the upper torso during an altercation involving a group of people. He was pronounced dead at University of Maryland Shock Trauma hospital in Baltimore. Police arrested a 16-year-old Glen Burnie male at his residence and charged him with second-degree murder.

ASSAULTS

GREEN BRANCH LANE, 12:48 a.m. Sept. 5. A man walking his dog suffered a stab wound to his right side during a struggle with a man armed with a knife during a robbery attempt. The assailant then fled on foot into a wooded area. A 24-year-old Glen Burnie man was treated at a local hospital and released.

ROUTE 2 N., 7300 block, 9:48 p.m. Sept. 7. A man approached a woman in a parking lot, sprayed her face with paint and snatched her purse.

AMERICANA CIR., 7800 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 25 to 10:23 a.m. Aug. 26. Cash was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

AMERICANA CIR., 7800 block, 7:15 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Aug. 26. A residence was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLID BLVD., 7600 block, 2:25 to 3:35 a.m. Aug. 29. Property was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

EVERETT RD., 500 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 25 to 10:20 a.m. Aug. 26. A cash register was stolen from a business entered through a door.

GAYLOR RD., 300 block, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 29. Cash, jewelry and audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered through a front window.

GLEN MAR RD., 400 block, 7:30 to 8 a.m. Aug. 27. Audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

HAROLD CT., 8100 block, 5:20 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Aug. 31. Cash was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

MANNING RD., 1600 block, Aug. 16 to Aug. 31. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a residence entered through a door.

RITCHIE HWY. N., 7900 block, 2:59 to 3:07 a.m. Aug. 31. Tobacco products were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

ROBBERIES

ARUNDEL MILLS BLVD., 7600 block, 4:13 p.m. Sept. 4. A man attempted to snatch a woman's purse outside a grocery store, then fled to a vehicle when the woman resisted. As he was driving out of the parking lot, he struck a female pedestrian. Police arrested him after a brief pursuit. The pedestrian was treated at a hospital for injuries to her left leg. Police charged a 48-year-old D.C. man with strong arm robbery and traffic hit and run.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLARK RD., 7800 block, noon to 12:42 p.m. Aug. 31. A residence was entered by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

OLD JESSUP RD., 8000 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 27 to 5:30 a.m. Aug. 29. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported

missing.

LAUREL AREA ROBBERIES

CORRIDOR MARKET PL., 3300 block, 1:53 a.m. Sept. 8. A gunman approached a 38-year-old man sitting in a work van behind a health facility and robbed him of cash. He then forced the man to go to the back door of the facility and call to his co-workers. Three men, ages 21, 22 and 40, came out one by one. The gunman asked the 40-year-old whether he thought the incident was a joke and pistol-whipped him across the left cheek when the man said yes. The 40-year-old then kicked the gunman in the groin, causing him to drop the gun. The robber fled in a vehicle east on Route 198.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 1:42 a.m. Sept. 8. A gunman attempted to rob a couple of cash at a motel. When the couple said they had no money, he fled in a silver Dodge Durango. He picked up a second man nearby and drove east on Route 198.

STYLE AVE., 3300 block, 11;37 a.m. Aug. 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

Linthicum Area

ROBBERIES

NORTH HAMMONDS FERRY RD., 700 block, 9;48 a.m. Sept. 3. A gunman ordered all the employees and customers of a bank to the floor and robbed the bank of cash. The gunman, wearing a black ski mask and gloves, fled with the cash in a black leather messenger bag.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GOVERNORS GATE LANE, 100 block, 3 to 11:50 a.m. Aug. 25. Cash was stolen from a business entered through a window.

HAMMONDS FERRY RD. N., 700 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 30 to 4:30 a.m. Aug. 31. Equipment was stolen from a business. There was no sign of forced entry.

WEST NURSERY RD., 1000 block, Aug. 27 to Aug. 29. Property was stolen from a business. There was no sign of forced entry.

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1400 block, 4:30 to 7:03 p.m. Aug. 28. Auto parts were stolen from a business.

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1600 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 4. Firearms, a camera, computer equipment and video games and equipment were stolen from a business entered by breaking a window. A 15-year-old boy and a 24-year-old man were arrested.

ARTILLERY CT., 300 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 26 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 28. Property was stolen from a residence.

ARUNDEL RD., 100 block, Aug. 28 to Aug. 29. Tools were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side window.

JACOBS MEADOW DR., 1700 block, 10:39 p.m. Sept. 1. Two men with a shotgun threatened a 17-year-old youth and robbed him of a hat, shoes, keys, a cell phone and a wallet.

QUARTERFIELD RD., 7800 block, 2:59 a.m. Sept. 7. A man wearing a black mask and another man wearing a stocking over his face entered a convenience store and put cigarettes in a backpack. An employee was then threatened and cash was taken. No weapons were shown.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BENT BOUGH RD., 7900 block, 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Jewelry, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

RICHFIELD DR., 1700 block, 7:08 p.m. Sept. 3. Six to eight male juveniles surrounded a delivery driver's truck after he made a pizza delivery. They banged on the vehicle, opened doors and demanded food and cash. One youth punched the driver in the face. After a bystander shouted at them, the juveniles fled with food but no cash.

Severna Park Area

INVERNESS RD., 100 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 13 to 8 a.m. Aug. 27. Firearms, cash, tools and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence.
