Charles County Fair

Four stages will be filled with performances, a carnival midway will stretch through the grounds and a new Queen Nicotina will be crowned at the Charles County Fair, which will be held 4-11 p.m. today; 8:30 a.m.-11 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday; 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. Artsfest 2005

More than 100 artists from around the country will display their works at Artsfest 2005, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Annmarie Garden, 13480 Dowell Rd., Solomons. Bands will play throughout the event. Food, wine and beer will be available. Those attending can participate in craft-making and arts activities. $5 per person; free for children 12 and younger.
