SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GERMANTOWN AREA, Sept. 3. A 13-year-old Germantown girl was sexually assaulted on several occasions beginning July 30 in her home, reportedly by an acquaintance. An investigation was continuing.

ASSAULTS

GERMANTOWN AREA, 6:30 a.m. Aug. 31. A domestic assault occurred between a father, 55, and his son, 16, at their home. An investigation was continuing.

ROBBERIES

CHALET DRIVE AND WONDERLAND WAY, 9 p.m. Sept. 2. Three men forced two 14-year-old Germantown boys to the ground and struck them in the face. They took property from both of the boys and fled on foot. The property was later recovered.

KENTLANDS BOULEVARD AND GREAT SENECA HIGHWAY, Aug. 28. A Gaithersburg man, 27, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, and malicious destruction of property in connection with a domestic incident that occurred at the above location.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 11:15 p.m. Sept. 3. A male assaulted a female acquaintance, 17, of Gaithersburg.

SUMMIT AVE. N., 400 block, Sept. 2. A Gaithersburg man, 33, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault in connection with an incident that occurred at the above location.

ROBBERIES

FREDERICK AVE. N., 200 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 30. A man kicked a Gaithersburg man, 32, and forcibly took his cell phone. An investigation was continuing.

KENTLANDS BLVD., 100 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Five men got out of a silver vehicle in a parking lot and demanded money at knifepoint from three youths, a 15-year-old Boyds boy, a 14-year-old Germantown boy, and a 14-year-old North Potomac girl. One of the boys was punched in the face. The robbers then fled in their vehicle empty-handed.

HIGHLAND AVE., 6500 block, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 7. An attempt was made to enter a residence by prying the lock and frame of the front door.

LINCOLN AVE., 9 p.m. Sept. 5 to 8 a.m. Sept. 6. A window and the ignition of a 2005 Chrysler minivan were damaged in an attempt to steal the vehicle.
