Tara Gardner, Severna Park, Sr.: She led the county (public and private) in scoring as a junior, notching 31 goals (most often while entrenched on the left post). Gardner is one of only four seniors playing for the perennial county champions.

Lindsay Rawley, Broadneck, Sr.: Fiercely intense and lightning quick to the ball, Rawley had 14 goals and nine assists a year ago and is the key offensive player for a Bruins squad that hopes to improve on last year's 11-5 mark.

Erin Majerowicz, Chesapeake, Jr.: Her numbers don't give an accurate read on the player whom Coach Melissa Page calls "my rock." She had only four goals and two assists in 2004, but anchors the team. "Everything goes through her," said Page.

Mary Nowottnick, Arundel, Sr.: Center-midfielder was the MVP of the River Hill tournament last weekend, assisting on two goals as the Wildcats captured the tournament title with a pair of victories.

Adrienne Hunt, South River, Jr.: A transfer from Key School, Hunt is proving to be an early-season offensive weapon for the defending 4A state champions. She scored two goals in a victory over Quince Orchard and one in a win over Severn.

Marian Cassilly, Spalding, Sr.: All-County honorable mention goalie faced an onslaught of shots from Chesapeake on Monday, stopping all but one. That was enough as her teammates scored twice in a 2-1 victory.
