THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BOWES LANE, 2800 block, 9:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Aug. 31. Jewelry, tools and other property were stolen from a house entered by forcing a back door.

CATALPA CT., 15000 block, 1:30 to 4:15 a.m. Aug. 31. A purse and other property were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

DALE BLVD., 4300 block, 11:45 p.m. Sept. 5 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 6. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

DEL MAR DR., 3700 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 4 to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

DURAN DR., 14500 block, 12:30 to 9 a.m. Sept. 3. A paint-spraying machine was stolen from a van entered by forcing a window.

ELMWOOD DR., 14800 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 30 to 7 a.m. Aug. 31. A VCR, a DVD player and a video-game system were stolen from a vehicle.

STILL PL., 4700 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 1 to 4:30 a.m. Sept. 2. Wheels were stolen from a car at a house.

ALLSPICE CT., 12200 block, 3:24 p.m. Aug. 31. A teenager asked a postal carrier, 65, to give him mail. The man said no, and the teenager punched him and fled.

DAMASCUS DR., 9500 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 4 to 5 a.m. Sept. 5. Two generators and tools were stolen from a vehicle.

IONA SOUND DR., 12400 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 30 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 31. Cash, a wallet, an iPod and stereo equipment were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ISLAND FOG CT., 10000 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 3 to 8:15 a.m. Sept. 4. A computer, a cell phone and a knife were stolen from a vehicle at a house.

MITCHENER DR., 6100 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 2 to 8:40 a.m. Sept. 3. Stereo equipment was stolen from a car at a house.

ROBBERIES

ARMSTEAD ST., 13400 block, 11:12 p.m. Aug. 31. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian, 25, and robbed him of a wallet and a cell phone.

BAYSIDE AVE., 1300 block, 9:45 p.m. Sept. 5. A male passenger in a cab attempted to rob the driver, 39, in a residential area. The man punched the driver and fled from the vehicle with a female passenger.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

BAYSIDE AVE., 1300 block, 8:22 p.m. Sept. 5. A man exposed himself to a woman, 33, outside a building.

ARIZONA AVE., 14700 block, 1 to 4 a.m. Sept. 2. Two bicycles were stolen from a house.

BOTTNER CT., 13600 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 30 to 11 a.m. Sept. 5. Figurines were stolen from a house entered by breaking a window.

CREEK MOOR CT., 2600 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6. A lawn mower was stolen from the back yard of a house.

MARBLESTONE DR., 12700 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 5 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 6. Tools, copper piping and other property were stolen from a house.

PRINCE WILLIAM PKWY., 2800 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 31 to 4:30 a.m. Sept. 1. An attempt was made to force open an ATM at a bank.

RUSH DR., 13600 block, 9 a.m. Sept. 5 to 11 a.m. Sept. 6. Tools were stolen from a vehicle entered by forcing a door.

CONNER DR., 8500 block, 7 a.m. Sept. 4. A door of a business was spray-painted.

LAMBERT DR., 100 block, 1 to 8 a.m. Sept. 3. Tires of a car were slashed.

SANDSTONE WAY, 8500 bock, 8 a.m. Sept. 2 to 1:23 p.m. Sept. 4. A window of a van was spray-painted.

TREMONT ST., 100 block, 9 a.m. Sept. 4 to 9 a.m. Sept. 5. An elementary school was entered by breaking a window and vandalized.
