DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
MCCRAKEN DR., Sept. 9. A mailbox was set on fire at a residence.
CORDOVA DR., Sept. 12. A backpack, which contained a wallet and a cell phone, was stolen from a vehicle.
COYOTE TRAIL, Sept. 8. Someone tried to steal a radio from a vehicle.

DARES BEACH RD., Sept. 11. A wall and two sets of doors were spray-painted at Calvert High School.

Bel Alton Area
CRAIN HWY., 9300 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 10. A man, 26, robbed two men at the Relax Inn. He was charged with armed robbery.
LEONARDTOWN RD., 7700 block, 3:42 p.m. Aug. 27. Two men, 19 and 20, robbed a man of a truck and trailer carrying two ATVs and fled into Prince George's County. As the offenders were being pursued, one of the ATVs detached from the trailer and was dragged on the pavement. Gasoline from the ATV spilled and started a fire, destroying the ATV. The 20-year-old man was charged with armed carjacking, armed robbery, first-degree assault, use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime, motor vehicle theft and theft worth more than $500. The other man, 19, was charged with several crimes in Washington and is being held at a D.C. jail.
Indian Head Area
INDIAN HEAD HWY., 4500 block, 4:12 a.m. Sept. 9. Cash was stolen from Mutt's Bar.
LARSON DR., 9200 block, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 13. A woman, 25, assaulted a man, 19, with scissors and a bottle. She was charged with first- and second-degree assault. The man was flown to Prince George's Hospital Center for treatment.
COPLEY AVE., 800 block 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 9. Cash and three music CD cases were stolen from a residence.
CRAIN HWY., 3200 block, 5:41 a.m. Sept. 14. World Liquor and Szechwan Gardens were forcibly entered. Three drawers containing cash were stolen from World Liquor. Nothing was reported missing from Szechwan Gardens.
VERNON RD., 11700 block, 9:56 p.m. Sept. 13. A hole was cut in the fence at Gardiner Equipment where ATVs and other items are kept. Three ATVs were stolen, and two others were moved toward the hole in the fence, but the thieves did not take those. Two of the ATVs were recovered Sept. 14 in Prince George's County. When officers tried to stop the ATVs as they were driven by two men, one of the men stopped his vehicle and ran away. The other man fired at the police officers and also ran away.
VERNON RD., 11700 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 14. A truck and trailer were used to steal an ATV from Gardiner Equipment. When police arrived, they tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver didn't comply. Officers pursued the vehicle into Prince George's County. Shortly after entering the county, the truck hit a police cruiser. When the truck approached an intersection, the ATV fell off the trailer. Two occupants ran from the vehicle. It was learned the truck and trailer had been stolen Sept. 13.
St. Mary's County

BUSHWOOD, 11:25 p.m. Sept. 7. Someone forcibly entered Hill's Auto Repair. Nothing was reported missing.
Charlotte Hall Area
ROUTE 5, 10:05 p.m. Sept. 6 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A registration sticker was stolen from a license plate on a vehicle parked at the Park and Ride.
Lexington Park Area
LITTLE GIRLS WAY, 8:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 3. A registration sticker was stolen from a license plate on a vehicle parked at a residence.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
EVERGREEN PARK DR., 8:17 a.m. Sept. 4. Two boys, both 15, rearranged yard ornaments and broke several items at a residence. They were charged with malicious destruction of property less than $500.
LEXINGTON PARK, 7:41 a.m. Sept. 1. A rock was thrown through a window at the St. Mary's Boys and Girls Club.
