Driving Hot Spots
Here is a selection of road advisories. Weather and equipment availability can affect timing.
1. Old Georgetown Road
Right lane closed 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. today through Thursday between Rockville Pike and Democracy Boulevard.
2. Muncaster Mill Road
Right lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Shady Grove Road and Redland Road.
3. Darnestown Road
Alternating traffic pattern in both directions with flagging operation 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Whites Ferry Road and the county line.
4. Capital Beltway (inner loop)
Two left lanes closed 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday and two right lanes closed 10 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday between Route 5 and Route 414.
5. New Hampshire Avenue
Left lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays at Heartsfields Drive.
6. Annapolis Road
Right lane closed in both directions 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Enterprise Road and High Bridge Road.
7. Capital Beltway (outer loop)
Left lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Branch Avenue and Route 210.
8. Capital Beltway (outer loop)
Two left lanes closed 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday from Interstate 295 to north of Route 210.
9. Capital Beltway (inner loop)
Two right lanes closed 9 p.m. tomorrow to 5 a.m. Tuesday and left lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday between Livingston Road and the Bald Eagle Road Bridge.
10. Springfield interchange
Possible lane closures 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. tomorrow through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday.
11. Tenley Circle
One lane of Nebraska Avenue NW closed in each direction between 41st Street and Tenley Circle, and northbound curb lane of Wisconsin Avenue closed just north of Tenley Circle.
