Rockville Arts & Music Festival

Contemporary jazz and hip-hop artist Marcus Johnson and acoustic rock musician Shawn Mullins are among the headliners at the Rockville Arts & Music Festival from noon to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Rockville Town Center. The festival will feature several stages for music and dance, a battle of high school bands and a chili cook-off. Tom Paxton to Perform for Kids

'Cinderella' at Imagination Stage

Imagination Stage starts its 2005-06 season with performances of "Cinderella," by British playwright Charles Way, at 7 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The play takes place in Manheim, Germany, in 1977, and is set to the music of Mozart. Both performances will feature an audience drawing for a gown like the one Cinderella wears in the performance.
