Clarksville Area


HALL SHOP RD., 12000 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 10. A blue 1986 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck was stolen.

Columbia Area


ARI CT., 8300 block, 11:43 p.m. Sept. 13. Two boys banged on an apartment door and forced their way inside. They pulled out handguns and demanded cash from a male and two female occupants. A fight began, and the robbers fled. Nothing was reported taken.

CRADLEROCK WAY, 6700 block, 2:30 to 11:30 p.m. Sept. 12. Several computers were stolen from an elementary school.

GUILFORD RD., 8800 block, 3:19 p.m. Sept. 7. Two males on a footpath assaulted a 16-year-old youth and took cash, keys and a wallet.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, noon Sept. 6. Two men in a business at a shopping mall demanded cash and merchandise at knifepoint from a female clerk. The clerk was forced to a back room and restrained. The two males fled with cash and sunglasses.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 2:18 a.m. Sept. 11. Three males accosted a male and demanded cash. The male was punched in the face and threatened with being shot. The male complied.


HICKORY RIDGE RD., 10700 block, 12:33 to 3:30 a.m. Sept. 10. Cash was stolen from a business entered through a door.

KNIGHTHOOD LANE, 9600 block, 7:16 p.m. Sept. 8. A sliding glass back door was opened at a residence. Nothing was reported stolen.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10700 block, 6:22 p.m. Sept. 10. Tires were stolen from behind a business.

OAKLAND MILLS RD., 5600 block, 2:10 a.m. Sept. 8. Someone entered a garage, then entered an unlocked vehicle. A resident heard noise in the garage, and the intruder fled. A pair of sunglasses was reported stolen.

OAKLAND MILLS RD., 7200 block, 2:56 p.m. Sept. 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door open.

PAINTED ROCK RD., 8300 block, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A man's bicycle was stolen from an open residential garage.

ROBERT FULTON DR., 8600 block, 12:39 p.m. Sept. 7. Tiles were stolen from a business under construction.

SANTIAGO RD., 9600 block, 6:14 p.m. Sept. 11. A church was entered by forcing a front door open. Nothing was reported stolen.

STAYTON DR., 8200 block, 1 a.m. Sept. 10 to 4 a.m. Sept. 12. About 40 fax-copier machines and 10 stereos were stolen from a business.

SUMMER CLOUD, 6400 block, 3 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A man's bicycle was stolen from an open residential garage and later recovered two blocks away.

TAMAR DR., 8900 block, 8 to 11 p.m. Sept. 7. A bike and two purses were stolen from an apartment entered through an unlocked sliding door.

WINCOPIN CIR., 10200 block, 4:36 a.m. Sept. 13. Cash was stolen from behind a bar at a restaurant entered by throwing a rock through a front window.


AIRY BRINK LANE, 8700 block, 12:46 to 1:30 a.m. Sept. 10. A black 2005 Hyundai Elantra was stolen.

FRIETCHIE ROW, 6500 block, 7:21 a.m. Sept. 9. A gold Honda Accord was stolen.

HARPERS FARM RD., 5900 block, 9:21 p.m. Sept. 8. A silver 2000 Sunfire was stolen.

HICKORY CREST DR., 10600 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 10. A green 1995 Toyota was stolen.

MAJORS LANE, 6000 block, 10:34 a.m. Sept. 12. A green 2001 Nissan Sentra was stolen.

QUIET HOURS, 6500 block, 12:29 p.m. Sept. 8. A gray 2002 Honda was stolen.

SHADOWSHAPE PL., 6300 block, 6:05 a.m. Sept. 14. A 2005 Honda Accord was stolen.

TALISMAN LANE, 7100 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 9 to 4:21 a.m. Sept. 10. A silver 2000 Honda Civic was stolen and later recovered in Montgomery County.

Elkridge Area


FOREST AVE., 6300 block, 11 a.m. Sept. 9 to 10 a.m. Sept. 10. A man entered a relative's residence while the residents were away. A man, age 45, was arrested.

TROY HILL DR., 7000 block, 3:17 a.m. Sept. 13. Police responded to an alarm at a business and saw a vehicle with large items in the trunk driving away. Police stopped the vehicle. Four power washers and two generators were recovered in the vehicle. Two men, ages 23 and 35 were arrested.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 6700 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 7 to 7 a.m. Sept. 8. Tools were stolen from a warehouse.

Ellicott City Area


CANDY ROOT CT., 5200 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 4 to 6:45 a.m. Sept. 7. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

GOLF ISLAND RD., 2600 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 11. Fishing equipment and lawn equipment were stolen from a residential garage.

Glenwood Area


CALLAWAY CT., 15200 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6 to 6:45 a.m. Sept. 7. Appliances were stolen from a house under construction.

Jessup Area


PATUXENT RANGE RD., 8300 block, 10:48 a.m. Sept. 8. An attempt was made to enter a business by forcing a garage back door open.

Laurel Area


COUNTRY MEADOWS LANE, 9700 block, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7. DVDs, CDs, a hand-held music player and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through an open window.


FREESTATE DR., 8800 block, 2 to 10:15 p.m. Sept. 9. A green 1995 Nissan Sentra was stolen.

TRADERS CROSSING, 9200 block, 10:15 p.m. Sept. 12 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 13. A red 1988 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 10100 block, 10:37 a.m. Sept. 8. A white 1997 Ford F350 pickup truck was stolen.

Lisbon Area


LISBON CT., 700 block, 1:36 a.m. Sept. 13. A cash drawer was stolen from a restaurant entered by using an object to punch a hole in a glass window.

RIVER ISLAND DR., 8900 block, 2:40 p.m. Sept. 12 to 1:15 a.m. Sept. 13. DVDs, two DVD players, two game systems and video games were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a kitchen window.

Woodstock Area


GANTON GREEN RD., 2100 block, 9:35 a.m. Sept. 10. An apartment was entered by ripping a porch screen. Nothing was reported stolen. A boy was found sleeping in a second apartment. A 15-year-old boy was arrested.
