Arrest in Killing Prince George's County detectives arrested a man they said fatally stabbed his neighbor Wednesday night.

Patrick Imes, 25, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of Eno Worthy, 24, in Hillcrest Heights. Both men lived in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive, where the crime occurred, police said.

Imes was being held without bond by the Prince George's Department of Corrections.

Rape Arrest Montgomery County police arrested a man accused of raping a woman in a Bethesda hotel room yesterday.

Authorities said Roger A. Berrios, 38, of Wheaton knocked on the door of a 28-year-old woman's room, forced his way in, stripped the woman and raped her while pressing a pillow against her face.

The woman, a New York resident, broke free and ran to the lobby of the Holiday Inn at 5520 Wisconsin Ave., police said. Hotel security personnel held the suspect until police arrived.

Berrios was charged with rape, attempted murder and sex offense and was being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center last night, police said. Police said bond information was not immediately available.

Man Shoots at Officer A man fired a semiautomatic handgun at a Prince George's County police officer yesterday but missed. The officer fired back but was unsure whether he hit the gunman, police said.

The incident began at 1 a.m. in the 1100 block of Drum Avenue in Capitol Heights when the officer heard shots. When he got to the scene, he saw two men running toward an occupied vehicle, and one of the men had a gun.

The officer, whom police did not identify, told the man to drop his weapon but the man refused and opened fire. After the officer returned fire, the two men sped off in a silver Honda, which was later found on fire behind an apartment building in Southeast Washington. HOMICIDES

* A clerk at a Days Inn in Waldorf was fatally shot while working near the motel's front desk yesterday afternoon, Charles County police said.

Investigators said they think a man walked in and fired at Jerry Alan Wills III, 19, in the 11300 block of Days Court just before 2:45 p.m. for an unknown reason. Police did not know of a motive in the shooting.

Wills, a native of Chambersburg, Pa., had been living in Waldorf since January, police said. His body was taken to the state medical examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
