Heather Janules was named the new assistant minister at Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church in Bethesda. Janules will support senior minister Roger Fritts and minister of religious education Susan Archer in coordinating pastoral care services to the nearly 900-member congregation.

Janules was ordained into the Unitarian Universalist ministry by the Arlington Street Church in Boston.
