Artists, Vendors Sought

For Greenbelt Fair

Greenbelt's Department of Recreation is accepting applications from artists and vendors for its annual Festival of Lights Art and Craft Fair. The application deadline is tomorrow. The festival, in its 34th year, will be held Dec. 3 and 4. There is no application fee, but a booth fee will be collected upon acceptance into the show. Plan Joint Meeting

The Prince George's County and Montgomery County municipal associations will hold a joint meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, 4500 Paint Branch Pkwy., College Park. There will be presentations on Pepco and the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, as well as a discussion between the two associations about issues that concern both municipalities. Child-Care Resources

Available for Evacuees

The Prince George's Child Resource Center is available to assist hurricane evacuees living in the county in their search for licensed child-care providers. The center's LOCATE child care resource and referral service can help identify providers in the county who have openings and who meet parents' specifications. Evacuee parents are also encouraged to apply for vouchers through the Prince George's County Department of Social Services to help pay for child care during the next four months.
