Seminar Covers Sales Tips

The Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce presents "Using the Telephone to Gain More Clients," a workshop designed to teach business owners and sales professionals new sales techniques. Company Gets New Name

MIE Properties Inc., a real estate company based in Baltimore County, has changed its corporate name to St. John Properties Inc. The company developed Laurel Business Center, a bulk warehouse located at 8610-8660 Cherry Lane in Laurel.

Mall Seeks Models

The Mall at Prince George's will hold an open call for models from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the shopping center's Center Court to find the faces for its upcoming advertising campaign. Women and men ages 16 through 30 and children 4 through 10 should bring a high-quality photo of any size to be considered. Those who are selected will be notified by Oct. 21. Models will not be paid for the use of their likeness. The mall is at 3500 East West Hwy., Hyattsville.
