THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PONDEROSA DR., 42000 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 28 to 7 a.m. Sept. 29. Two air-conditioning units and two furnace units were stolen from a construction site.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASHBROOK COMMONS PLAZA, 20000 block, 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2. A bike was stolen from the back of a restaurant.

ASHBROOK COMMONS PLAZA, 20000 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 4 to 6 a.m. Oct. 5. A door was damaged in an attempt to enter a business.

ASHBROOK PL., 20000 block, 7:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 29. Credit cards, cash and a driver's license were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window. The credit cards were used to make purchases at two businesses.

MILESTONE SQ., 44000 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 30 to 3:15 a.m. Oct. 1. Jewelry and a checkbook were stolen from a residence.

Leesburg Area

ASSAULTS

HUNTMASTER TERR. NE, 12:56 a.m. Oct. 5. Police called to the Inova Loudoun Hospital Center emergency room found a man with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The victim said he was sitting in a vehicle when an unknown man approached him, demanded money, shot him in the thigh and fled. CHILDRENS CENTER RD. SW, 700 block, 4:29 p.m. Oct. 3. Threats received over the Internet were reported.

CATOCTIN CIRCLE, 5:02 p.m. Sept. 30. An assault at Fox Ridge Park was reported.

MARKET ST. E., 700 block, 12:30 a.m. Oct. 2. Police responded to an assault.

CATOCTIN CIR. NE, 1 to 100 block, 12:38 p.m. Sept. 30. A wallet, bank cards and cash were stolen from a purse at a grocery store.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 5:49 p.m. Sept. 29. A wallet, bank card and Social Security card were stolen from a business.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 2. Shoplifting at an outlet mall was reported.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 7:07 p.m. Oct. 4. Shoplifting at an outlet mall was reported.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 4:20 p.m. Oct. 4. Shoplifting at an outlet mall was reported.

HEDGESTONE TERR. NE, 300 block, 4:45 p.m. Oct. 3. Identify theft was reported.

OLD WATERFORD RD., 17000 block, noon Sept. 25 to 9 p.m. Sept. 30. Firearms and cash were stolen from a residence.

PLAZA ST. NE, 1 to 100 block, 11:40 a.m. Oct. 2. Credit card fraud was reported.

VANDALISM

BELLVIEW CT. NE, 800 block, 11:16 a.m. Oct. 2. Arson to a mailbox at a residence was reported. The case has been turned over to the fire marshal's office.

CEDARGROVE PL. SW, 100 block, 11:15 a.m. Oct. 4. A vehicle was scratched and damaged.

FOXRIDGE DR. SW, 300 block, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 4. A patio light at a residence was damaged.

RASPBERRY DR., 42000 block, 4 to 4:30 a.m. Oct. 3. A dining-room window at a residence was damaged.

COLONEL YOUNG WAY, 47000 block, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30. A rock was thrown through a window at a residence.

BUZZARD ROCK LANE, 11000 block,10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 1. Tools and several chainsaws were stolen from a barn.

HARPERS FERRY RD., 12000 block, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 1. A residence was entered through a window. Nothing was reported missing.

SAGLE RD., 13000 block, 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28. Jewelry, a digital camera and video games were stolen from a residence.

SAGLE RD., 12000 block, Oct. 3. Glove compartments in two vehicles were ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

South Riding Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CAVERSHAW TERR., 25000 block, 7:53 p.m. Sept. 30. Cash and jewelry were stolen from an apartment.

TALL CEDARS PARKWAY, 7 a.m. Oct. 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 5. A power washer was stolen from a gated area.

NOKES BLVD., 45000 block, 1:25 p.m. Oct. 2. A man was seen exposing himself as he walked toward Cascades Parkway.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CANFIELD TERR., 21000 block, 1:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29. Four tires and rims and lug nuts were stolen from a vehicle.

LINCOLN AVE., 200 block, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 28 to 7:39 a.m. Sept. 29. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle, and a window was damaged.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

COMMUNITY PLAZA, 46000 block, 10:20 p.m. Sept. 30 to 1:30 a.m. Oct. 1. A blue 1999 Honda Civic was stolen.

VANDALISM

CASCADES AND PALISADE PARKWAYS, 5 p.m. Oct. 1 to 7:45 a.m. Oct. 2. A lamp post was marred by paint.

POTOMAC RUN PLAZA, 46000 block, 9 to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 5. An outside wall at a business was marred by paint.

STERLING BLVD., 300 block, 9:27 p.m. Oct. 4. A vehicle was scratched.
