Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill will hold a pumpkin sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, through Oct. 31. This annual fundraiser, held at the front yard of the church at 3606 Seminary Rd. in Alexandria, benefits local charities as well as the Navajo Indians of Northern New Mexico, who grow the pumpkins on tribal lands. Pumpkins cost $1-$15; autumn crafts, cornstalks, desserts and other items also will be on sale.

The church is also seeking high school female singers to join the Hildegaard Choir. The choir, conducted by Philip Cave, performs music from the medieval to the modern.
