Driving Hot Spots
Here is a selection of road advisories. Weather and equipment availability can affect timing.
1. Ridge Road
Southbound lane closures 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Frederick and Brink roads.
2. Veirs Mill Road
Lane closure 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays at Norbeck Road.
3. Massachusetts Avenue
Flagging operation 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Goldsboro and Onondaga roads.
4. East West Highway
Lane closure 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Auburn Avenue.
5. Laurel Fort Meade Road
Lane closure 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Baltimore Avenue and Eighth Street.
6. Capital Beltway (inner loop)
Right lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Branch Avenue and St. Barnabas Road.
7. Capital Beltway (inner loop)
Two right lanes closed 8 p.m. tomorrow to 5 a.m. Tuesday and two left lanes closed 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday between Branch Avenue and east of St. Barnabas Road.
8. Capital Beltway (outer and inner loops)
Multiple lane closures 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. today through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays near Interstate 295 and Route 210.
9. Capital Beltway (outer loop)
Three left lanes closed with two 20-minute traffic stoppages 10 p.m. tomorrow to 5 a.m. Tuesday west of Telegraph Road.
10. Springfield interchange
Possible lane closures 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. tomorrow through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday.
11. Chesapeake Bay Bridge

Tip of the Week
The D.C. Department of Transportation has designated 50 on-street parking spaces in the Petworth, Adams Morgan, Mount Pleasant and historic Anacostia areas for car-sharing vehicles. Spaces are marked with orange poles and signs.
