ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 5600 block, 12:25 a.m. Oct. 20. A man emerged from a wooded area and swung a 2-x-4-foot board and demanded money from a couple. The couple called police on a nearby pay phone. Police arrested a man, who then kicked a video monitoring system and a computer in a police car. A 28-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery, first-degree and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and destruction of property.

DOGWOOD TRAIL, 800 block, 1:30 p.m. Oct. 10 to 9 a.m. Oct. 13. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

SUMMERHILL TRAILER PARK, 100 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 13 to 2 p.m. Oct. 14. A bicycle and tools were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

CENTRAL AVE. W., 500 block, 3:12 a.m. Oct. 15. A couple was robbed of a 2004 Buick LaSabre after they stopped to get gas. The woman was lying in the back seat when the driver went into the station to pay. A man got into the car, pointed a gun at the woman and told her to get out. She left, and he drove away.

ASTER COURT AND CREST AVENUE, 9:19 p.m. Oct. 15. A group of males grabbed food from a pizza delivery driver in a vehicle as the victim was stopping at a traffic light. They threatened him and fled on foot. Police arrested a 19-year-old Glen Burnie man nearby and charged him with robbery and theft. The case was under investigation.

HOLLYWOOD DR., 100 block, 10:28 p.m. Oct. 16. A man with a knife robbed a delivery driver of cash and food.

MARLEY STATION MALL, 8:05 p.m. Oct. 19. Three males snatched a purse from a woman leaving a department store. The three fled to an apartment complex across the street.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3300 block, 9:42 a.m. Oct. 17. A man showed a note to a teller in a bank and took cash.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3300 block, 8:35 p.m. Oct. 19. A man in a store showed a knife, shoved a clerk out of the way and took money from a cash register.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 11:45 p.m. Oct. 13 to 9:20 a.m. Oct. 14. A cash register was stolen from a business entered by cutting a rear-door lock.

LEVY CT., 7:31 p.m. Oct. 19. Two boys approached an ice cream truck, and when the driver turned to retrieve an item, one boy concealed his face with a hood. He grabbed cash from the driver's hand and fled into a residence in the 7800 block of Coutros Court.

ATTEMPTED HOMICIDES

ROSECREST DR., 100 block, Oct. 12. An Annapolis man who repeatedly stabbed a female relative and himself on Oct. 9, was arrested after being released from the hospital. He was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and other offenses.

ASSAULTS

CARVER ST., 1-100 block, 2:36 a.m. Oct. 15. A man was struck in the head several times with an ax handle during an argument about a parking space. The assailant had retrieved the weapon from his car. The victim was treated at a hospital for head injuries. A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with first-degree and second-degree assault.

CROLL DRIVE NEAR ADMIRAL DRIVE, 2:10 a.m. Oct. 18. Several males attacked a male during a robbery attempt. The victim was cut with a knife before he escaped. He was treated for a large cut on his arm at a hospital.

ROBBERIES

BOXWOOD RD., 200 block, 12:15 a.m. Oct. 17. A man in the parking lot of his apartment building was approached by several males, who demanded money and started to follow him to his residence. The males fled when the man told a friend to call the police.

FOREST DRIVE AND TYLER AVENUE, 10:25 p.m. Oct. 17. A group of males chased a male several blocks and tried to rob him at gunpoint. The victim escaped, and no injuries were reported.

MADISON ST., 900 block, 2:44 a.m. Oct. 16. A gunman took cash from three males. The victims then noticed the robber was holding a BB gun. They grabbed and tried to detain him, but he broke free and fled.

FOREST DRIVE NEAR CENTER STREET, midnight Oct. 14 to 1 a.m. Oct. 15. Several males accosted a man, who was beaten with brass knuckles and robbed of cash at gunpoint. He was taken to a hospital. A short time later, police arrested four Annapolis males running near Kirby Lane and charged them with assault, robbery and other offenses. Two males, 14 and 15, were charged as juveniles and released to their parents. The other two, 16 and 17, were charged as adults.

BAY RIDGE AVE., 1000 block, 6:17 p.m. Oct. 13. A 40-year-old Annapolis man was arrested after he left a store with an inhaler that he had put into his pocket.

CHRISFIELD WAY, 700 block, 6:18 p.m. Oct. 17. Cash was stolen from a vehicle in the driveway of a residence.

FOREST DR., 1300 block, 11:50 p.m. Oct. 14. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered through an open sunroof.

FOREST DR., 1400 block, 9:22 a.m. Oct. 15. A 31-year-old Annapolis woman was arrested for allegedly driving a car with stolen license plates. She was charged with theft and driving with a suspended license.

FREDERICK DOUGLAS AND PRESIDENT STREETS, 7:41 a.m. Oct. 12. A male left a cab without paying the fare. The cabdriver got out and followed him behind a building, then returned to his cab when the robber waved a brick at him.

OBERY CT., 1-100 block, 9:35 a.m. Oct. 12. A Housing Authority employee observed two male juveniles in a vacant building, who jumped out of a window when they were seen. A 13-year-old Annapolis youth was later arrested in connection with burglary and destruction of property. He was released to a parent.

ROSECROFT DR., 100 block, 4:10 p.m. Oct. 17. Two bicycles were stolen from the yard of a residence

SEVERN AVE., 100 block, Oct. 11. Cash and a cell phone were stolen from a business entered through an unlocked rear window. The business was ransacked.

FIRST ST., 300 block, Oct. 15. Keys to an outside refrigerated storage box were stolen from a business. The box was then unlocked, and seven cases of beer were stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BRICIN ST., 1-100 block, 6:39 a.m. Oct. 17. A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot.
