SOUTHERN MARYLAND BLVD., Oct. 7-10. Property was stolen from a law firm.
CATALINA DR., 3:30-4 p.m. Oct. 22. A Sony PlayStation II video game system was stolen from a residence.
CLUBHOUSE DR., 2:30-7:30 a.m. Oct. 23. Numerous items were stolen from a vehicle.
RENO LANE, 5-5:30 a.m. Oct. 22. An amplifier and speaker were stolen from a vehicle. The equipment was later found nearby in the road.
ROBIN CT., Oct. 18. Two purses and a hand-held computer were stolen from two vehicles.

RUNNING FOX CT., 1 p.m. Oct. 23. A rock was thrown through a window at a residence.
CASEY WAY, Oct. 19. A purse and a pink iPod player were stolen from a vehicle.
FARM VIEW CT., 8 a.m. Oct. 15. Halloween yard ornaments were stolen from a residence.
TENLEY PL., 11:57 a.m. Oct. 24. A shed at a residence was entered.
Prince Frederick Area
DARES BEACH RD., 11:13 p.m. Oct. 22. Two men armed with handguns and wearing ski masks robbed a KFC restaurant.
MERRIMAC CT., 11:47 p.m. Oct. 26. A man armed with a gun and wearing a Halloween mask stole cash from the cash drawer at the Holiday Inn Express and fled.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
MAIN ST., 7:15 a.m. Oct. 15. A mailbox was damaged and a pumpkin was stolen at a residence.

STRAUSS AVE., 4200 block, 12:30 a.m. Oct. 22. Two men stole a cell phone, keys and cash from a man, 19, and fled.
INDIAN HEAD AVE., 300 block, 6:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m. Oct. 24. A handgun was stolen from a residence.
La Plata Area
QUINCE CT., 500 block, 8:31 p.m. Oct. 21. A vehicle was stolen from a residence. A man, 19, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
BERRY RD., 11500 block, 5 a.m. Oct. 26. A police officer was punched at Wawa store. A 22-year-old man was charged with assault on a police officer, second-degree assault, failure to obey a lawful order and resisting arrest.
FEDERAL HOUSE CT., 8:31 p.m. Oct. 20. A youth, 17, allegedly pushed a woman and knocked over two televisions at a residence. He then allegedly took two knives and tried to leave the residence. When the woman attempted to stop him, he allegedly threatened her with the knives and also threatened to harm arriving police officers. The youth was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and malicious destruction of property.
HOMESTEAD PL., 11900 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 22. A man, 23, allegedly threw a woman, 24, to the floor and punched and choked her. He was charged with second-degree assault.
JEFFERSON FARM PL., 9:26 a.m. Oct. 25. Tools were stolen from a vehicle parked outside Home Depot.
MATTAWOMAN DR., 12500 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 10 to 7 a.m. Oct. 22. A pay phone and two vending machines were stolen from Chuck's Barbershop.
ROCKEFELLER CT., 3700 block, Oct. 27. A man, 31, and a woman, 30, allegedly posed as Hurricane Katrina victims to receive aid from local civic organizations. They were charged with counts of theft over $500, attempted theft over $500 and theft scheme over $500.
White Plains Area
DEMARR RD., 10700 block, 7:03 p.m. Oct. 20. Four chain saws, four backpack blowers and two hedge trimmers were stolen from a business.
St. Mary's County

ROUTE 235, Oct. 8. After two Wal-Mart security officers wrestled a man, 45, to the ground, he allegedly tried to stab them with a pair of scissors. The man was accused of stealing items from the store. He was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, theft under $500 and disorderly conduct.
MIRAMAR WAY, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 20. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.
Charlotte Hall Area
CHARLOTTE HALL, Oct. 20. License plates and validation stickers were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Charlotte Hall Park and Ride lot.
COMANCHE LANE, Oct. 20. A Honda Accord was stolen.
MECHANICSVILLE, Oct. 20. Five men, ages 18 to 21, allegedly stole property from vehicles in the Mechanicsville and Hollywood areas. They were charged with motor vehicle theft, theft scheme over $500, three counts of felony theft, four counts of misdemeanor theft, destruction of property and a credit card violation.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
LAVENDER LANE, 8:57 a.m. Oct. 17. Two boys, ages 13 and 15, allegedly kicked and broke a wooden fence and two solar-powered lights. They were charged with malicious destruction of property.
St. Mary's City Area
ROUTE 5, Oct. 17. An office window at St. Mary's College was opened. Nothing has been reported missing.
