What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Redevelopment of existing properties and infrastructure is the most pressing issue facing Takoma Park. There are proposals for a self-storage facility at East Hampshire Center, the development adjacent to the Takoma Metro station, and the project in Old Town with a potential for 80 new residential units and new commercial space. Washington Adventist Hospital plans to move from their current location and that property could be redeveloped. The new fire station construction is due to start soon in Takoma Junction. All of these will have a huge impact on how comfortable we feel about our changed living environment."
Why should voters elect you?
"I have 12 years of experience working with residents and officials to promote and achieve consensus solutions to many local and regional issues."
