What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent issue facing our community is the quality of education in our schools. While Bowie schools perform well in comparison with the rest of Prince George's County, we do not compare favorably with many other schools in Maryland. Quality of education is the linchpin behind attracting businesses, high-end retail stores and ensuring that property values continue to rise. We need to ensure that we have more 'highly qualified teachers,' increase pay for teachers to attract and retain the very best, and ensure that classes are not overcrowded. Everyone needs to consider this the top priority."
Why should voters elect you?
"I have the broadest range of executive leadership and business experiences that are essential to thoughtful deliberation and decision-making on issues facing our community."
