What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The number one problem in my district is traffic! This year the House of Delegates led the effort to improve traffic by pushing through the largest increase in transportation funding in nearly 20 years, an $850 million increase. It will take several years of effort to begin making progress on our traffic problems."

Why should voters elect you?

"I will continue to work to represent their values and priorities in Richmond. I will work for transportation solutions, streamline government and provide conservative leadership."

C. A. 'Chuck' Feldbush (D)

Age: 50

Residence: Stafford.

Education: Associate's degree, justice administration, Northern Virginia Community College; studied law enforcement.

Occupation: Retired police detective, Prince William County Police Department; veteran, U.S. Air Force.

Elected offices/civic activities: Vice commander, American Legion Post 290, Stafford; assistant district commissioner; assistant scoutmaster, Boy Scouts Of America, Stafford; member, Fraternal Order of Police Battlefield Lodge 43, Stafford Transportation Commission, Rock Hill Baptist Church; charter member; Virginia Homicide Investigators Association.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Traffic: Our families are spending less time together, our businesses are losing money and we burn more gas because people like Mark Cole are ignoring the traffic problem in our region. As delegate, I will lock the transportation trust fund, bring money back to our region for our projects, oppose the efforts of those who want to charge our commuters to use roads we've already paid for, and bring efficient bus rapid transit to our region. We will pay for this by eliminating billions in state funding for Metrorail expansion and diverting it to projects that will benefit our region."

Why should voters elect you?

"My priorities are traffic and education, and I have a plan for improving both. I promise to always work for our families and community."
