SEXUAL ASSAULTS

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 11300 block, 6:50 p.m. Oct. 15. A man sitting on a bench in a book store in a mall exposed himself to two people, then fled into the mall when one of the victims screamed.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

LONE OAK DR., 6100 block, 9:50 p.m. Oct. 16. A Kensington man, 45, was charged with fourth-degree burglary, being a peeping tom, making visual surveillance with prurient intent, making false statements, and possession of paraphernalia in connection with an incident at this location.

ASSAULTS

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 7100 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12. A District man, 44, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, theft under $500, and resisting arrest in connection with an incident in a department store at this location.

WESTLAKE TERRACE AREA, 10:11 p.m. Oct. 17. A man, 35, was charged with first- and second-degree assault in connection with a domestic incident.

ROBBERIES

CONNECTICUT AVE., 10500 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 18. Three men robbed a convenience store of cash and cigarettes at gunpoint. They also took property from clerks' pockets.

OLD GEORGETOWN RD., 10200 block, 7:55 p.m. Oct. 19. Two men took cash from a drawer in a bank, placed it in a bag and fled. The cash was later recovered. No arrests were reported.

WESTLAKE DR., 10200 block, 11:29 p.m. Oct. 19. A man robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

WOODMONT AND CORDELL AVENUES, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Two men forced a boy, 17, to the ground, kicked and punched him, searched his pockets and fled.

CLOPPER AND QUINCE ORCHARD ROADS, 12:45 a.m. Oct. 23. A Gaithersburg man, 46, was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possessing a deadly weapon with intent to injure in connection with an incident that had just occurred in the Quince Orchard Plaza Shopping Center parking lot.

ROBBERIES

DIAMOND AVE. E., 1 to 100 block, 5:50 p.m., Oct. 23. A man offer to sell jewelry to a Germantown pedestrian. When the buyer presented cash, the seller displayed a knife and fled with the cash and the jewelry.

DIAMOND AVE. W., 400 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 19. Two men forced their way into an apartment and at gunpoint took property from each of the three residents, a 41-year-old man and two women, ages 37 and 44.

LOCUSTDALE TERR., 11400 block, 9:25 p.m. Oct. 21. Three men robbed a cab driver of cash at gunpoint.

SAYBROOKE VIEW DR., 200 block, 8:40 p.m. Oct. 19. A gunman robbed a 22-year-old pedestrian of her purse and a cell phone.

TOWNE CREST DR., 17000 block, 12:20 a.m. Oct. 24. A man in a parking lot robbed a Gaithersburg man, 21, of property at gunpoint.

WASHINGTON GROVE ROAD AND FAIRHAVEN DRIVE, 5 a.m. Oct. 11. A man at a bus stop took property from a Gaithersburg man, 63, at gunpoint.

WATKINS MILL RD., 100 block, 11:59 a.m., Oct. 22. Two Gaithersburg men, ages 18 and 19, were arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing in connection with an incident at this location.

WINTERWALK DR., 200 block, 8 p0.m Oct. 18 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 19. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

ROBBERIES

LEWIS AVENUE AND HALPINE ROAD, 10:29 p.m. Oct. 20. Three men robbed a male pedestrian, 16, of property at gunpoint.

ROLLINS AVE., 200 block, 9:40 p.m., Oct. 20. Three men demanded money at gunpoint from a Virginia pedestrian, 57. He pushed the gun aside and started to run, but tripped and fell, and spilled the contents of his briefcase. The gunmen went through the briefcase, then fled empty-handed in a dark-colored four-door sedan.

Silver Spring District

ASSAULTS

BROADBIRCH DR., 2300 block, 3:20 p.m. Oct. 21. A driver in a van cut off a Laurel man, 46, attempting to make a turn. After words were exchanged, the van followed the Laurel motorist. At this address, he displayed a gun, before driving away in a cream-colored, 2003 four-door Toyota Camry. An investigation was continuing.

HOLDRIDGE DRIVE AREA, 12:43 a.m. Oct. 17. A man, 30, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure in connection with a domestic incident at this location.

LOCKWOOD DR., 11400 block, 1 a.m. Oct. 23. Two men got into an argument with a Silver Spring man, 36, displayed guns, and fled.

SPENCE AND ROSS ROADS, 8:17 p.m. Oct. 20. A man got out of a green minivan and fired several shots, one of which struck a Silver Spring man, 21, who was walking nearby. He was treated for a leg wound at a hospital.

VALLEYWOOD DRIVE AREA, 2:18 p.m. Oct. 14. A man, 26, was charged with first-degree assault, malicious destruction of property worth less than $500 and malicious destruction of property worth more than $500 in connection with a domestic incident at this location.

ROBBERIES

CHERRY HILL RD., 11700 block, 8:45 p.m. Oct. 19. Two men knocked a Beltsville man, 37, to the ground from behind, took property, and fled.

EAST WEST HWY., 1400 block, 10:45 p.m. Oct. 20. A man in a parking lot sprayed a Rockville man, 34, in the face with pepper spray and then went through his pockets. He fled empty-handed.

FAIRLAND ROAD AND OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20. A male on a school bus robbed a Silver Spring male, 17, of his wallet and cell phone at knifepoint.

GARLAND AND DOMER AVENUES, 7 p.m. Oct. 25. Three men attacked two pedestrians, ages 27 and 50, hitting them each in the head with a handgun. The assailants fled with a hat belonging to one of the victims.

LOCKWOOD DRIVE AND COLUMBIA PIKE, 1:25 a.m. Oct. 21. Two men attacked a Silver Spring pedestrian, 20, from behind, then took cash from his pockets at knifepoint.

PINEY BRANCH ROAD AND GARLAND AVENUE, 7:25 p.m. Oct. 18. Two men hit a man, 48, over the head from behind as he got off a bus. After the victim fell to the ground, the men took property from him and got back on the bus.

MUNSEY AND LEVERTON STREETS, 7:10 a.m. Oct. 14. Three men removed property from the pockets of a female pedestrian, 75, at gunpoint and then fled in a white compact car.

WEISMAN RD., 3500 block, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18. Two men took property from a Wheaton pedestrian, 46, at gunpoint and fled.

CAMDEN CT., 1 to 100 block, 6:45 to 7:15 a.m. Oct. 20. A bicycle was stolen from a residence entered through a garage door.

DENHAM RD., 500 block, noon Oct. 16 to noon Oct. 17. Pieces of jewelry, a lockbox, credit cards, and personal documents were stolen from a residence.

HENRY RD., 1700 block, 8 a.m. Oct. 18 to 9 a.m. Oct. 20. A drill, a circular saw and a folder containing permits and blueprints were stolen from a residence.

HORNERS LANE N., 500 block, 8 a.m. Oct. 17. Two checks were stolen from an automobile repair shop.

KING FARM BLVD., 400 block, noon Oct. 17 to 10:11 a.m. Oct. 21. Cash and a digital camera were stolen from a vehicle.

NELSON ST., 1100 block, 3:40 a.m. Oct. 21. A restaurant was broken into. Several items were missing.

NIMITZ AVE., 300 block, 11:13 a.m. Oct. 17. A miter saw was stolen from a residential carport.

REDLAND BLVD., 400 block, 3 to 4 p.m. Oct. 17. A wallet containing cash, two driver's licenses, and credit, debit and store cards was stolen from a grocery store.

RICHARD MONTGOMERY DR., 200 block, 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Oct. 18. A cell phone was stolen from a high school.

RICHARD MONTGOMERY DR., 200 block, 8:51 p.m. Oct. 18. A Rockville male, 17, was charged with theft in connection with an incident at this location on Oct. 14.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 700 block, 4:20 to 4:50 p.m. Oct. 18. A cell phone and a wallet containing cash and credit cards were stolen from a nail salon.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 800 block, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 17. Cigarettes were stolen from a grocery store.

STONESTREET AVE. S., 600 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 21 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 22. Cash was stolen from a restaurant entered by force.

WESTMORE RD., 7300 block, 2 p.m. Oct. 18. A set of gauge blocks, a digital caliper and other tools were stolen from an office.

WESTMORE RD., 7400 block, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 to 9 a.m. Oct. 22. A car radio/CD player and four wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle.

WOODBURN RD., 300 block, 9:30 p.m. Oct. 19. to 11:20 a.m. Oct. 21. A power washer, an air compressor, a cordless saw, a drill, a skill saw and a flashlight were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked garage door.

YALE PL., 1700 block, Oct. 11. Cash was stolen from an apartment.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 1400 block, 11:49 p.m. Oct. 21. A blue Toyota Corolla with several occupants hit a vehicle driven by a man who then pulled over and got out of his car. He heard gunshots fired and discovered he had been hit. He was treated for non-life-threatening wounds at a hospital.

ROBBERIES

MAPLE AVE., 7500 block, 12:38 a.m. Oct. 22. A gunman grabbed a woman from behind as she was trying to find the key to her apartment and robbed her of a purse.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CEDAR AND TULIP AVENUES, 9 p.m. Oct. 24 to 8 a.m. Oct. 25. A 1999 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen.

LARCH AVE., 900 block, 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 6300 block, 5:09 p.m. Oct. 22. The owner of a 2005 Chrysler Impala saw a man inside it tampering with the steering wheel. He confronted the intruder, who got out, ran to a gold Chrysler nearby, and drove away. A door lock was damaged on the Impala.

SLIGO CREEK PKWY., 1000 block, 11:40 a.m. Oct. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
