What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Transportation! Last session, my bill dedicated transportation insurance premiums to road and transit projects. Previously, this transportation money had been diverted to other uses. Next, we will attempt to bond these dedicated funds to leverage $5.1 billion over 20 years for transportation. Further, we can't just build our way out of our transportation woes. Last year, the governor also signed my bill that will increase the number of teleworkers in government. In the coming session, I will be putting forth additional telework bills that will provide working families more flexibility and get cars off the road."
Why should voters elect you?
"I will find innovative solutions that can have a positive impact on our lives here in Fairfax County -- without raising taxes!"
