Last week: Freedom lost to Woodbridge, 27-6; Potomac lost to Hylton, 49-14.

Bottom line: Potomac has given up an average of 34.2 points in its five losses, which have come against teams with a combined record of 37-8.

GAR-FIELD AT WOODBRIDGE

Records: Gar-Field (2-7, 1-3 Cardinal); Woodbridge (7-2, 3-1).

Last week: Gar-Field lost to Forest Park, 34-24; Woodbridge defeated Freedom, 27-6.

Bottom line: Woodbridge took two games from Gar-Field last season by a combined 33-3 to snap a 12-game series winning streak by the Indians. . . . Rivals haven't finished with a winning record in the same season since 1996.

NO. 2 HYLTON AT FOREST PARK

Bottom line: Hylton, which leads the series 8-0, is the only Cardinal District program Forest Park has never beaten. . . . The Bulldogs are seeking their fifth unbeaten regular season in the past eight years.

STONEWALL JACKSON AT CULPEPER

Last week: Stonewall Jackson lost to Osbourn Park, 10-7; Culpeper lost to Osbourn, 30-26.

Bottom line: Stonewall lost to the top two teams in the district -- Osbourn and Osbourn Park -- by a combined nine points. . . . Raiders' five losses have come against teams with a combined record of 35-10.

BRENTSVILLE AT LIBERTY

Records: Brentsville (2-7, 2-4 Northwestern); Liberty (7-2, 4-2).

Last week: Brentsville lost to Sherando, 25-10; Liberty defeated Millbrook, 62-9.
