Light Up the Holidays

The 12th annual parade of lights at Symphony Woods, with a drive-through display of more than 70 animated and stationary holiday light creations, will benefit Howard County General Hospital. The display is open at 6 p.m. daily through Jan. 1. Monkeeing With New Band

Peter Tork, one of the original members of the '60s band the Monkees, and his new band, Shoe Suede Blues, will perform at two Maryland venues this week. Shoe Suede Blues, which performs original work, blues and rock covers, and the music of the Monkees, is touring to promote its CD "Saved by the Blues" The group will perform at 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Mojo Room, 4825 Belair Rd., Baltimore. $20. $15 in advance.
